I was looking for somewhere to eat around Apgujeong Rodeo and ended up visiting Eulji Darak Apgujeong Dosan Park. True to its name — 'darak' means attic in Korean — the place had a cozy, sentimental vibe. Once I visited in person, I could see why so many people choose it for wedding invitation meetups; it's a comfortable spot where you can enjoy delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.

How to walk to Eulji Darak Dosan Park from Apgujeong Rodeo Station, and where to park

This Apgujeong restaurant is fairly close to Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line, so it was easy to reach by public transit. Coming out of Exit 5 and walking along Rodeo street for about 5 minutes, I found it without much trouble.

🚗 If you're driving, you can use the nearby paid parking lots — there's a ₩3,000 parking fee support event per table.

The second-floor entrance you open by pushing a bookshelf

Eulji Darak is located on the 2nd floor of its building. Heading up, you're greeted by a strange door 😆 I wondered why there was suddenly a bookshelf there — turns out that was the door. You just push the bookshelf open to get in.

Is the interior right for a wedding invitation gathering or a date?

Inside, a cozy space opened up. The interior had a warm, comfortable feel overall. The sentimental atmosphere seemed great for a date, and it also felt well suited to a gathering of several people, like a wedding invitation meetup. It was easy to chat comfortably over a meal, so I'd recommend it as a spot for get-togethers.

Eulji Darak Dosan Park menu and what comes on the table

The menu included various meal options like omurice, pasta, risotto, and steak, plus sides like fries and sandwiches. It's mainly Western food, but with so many signature and best-seller items on offer, I found myself torn over what to order.

What does the signature Darak rose pasta taste like?

The signature menu item, Darak Rose Pasta, came with the housemade meat sauce and fresh cream served separately — a pretty unique visual. Once I mixed the sauce and cream together, it turned into a creamy rose pasta. The housemade meat sauce had a slight kick of spice that paired really well with the mild sweetness of the cream.

I added bread when ordering, and dipping it into the leftover rose sauce turned out to be a treat on its own.

Chap mokssal steak: the pork neck dish made for sharing

The chap mokssal steak (pork collar steak) came pre-cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to share even with several people at the table. The steak arrived on one plate along with mashed potatoes and nicely grilled vegetables — it looked so appetizing. The pork collar had that distinctive light, nutty flavor, and thanks to all the juices, it wasn't dry at all — really tasty.

Paired with the nicely grilled vegetables, it added a refreshing touch and more variety in texture — I really enjoyed it. It was also great dipped in the wholegrain mustard sauce 👍

The refreshing, cool lemonade paired nicely with both the pasta and the steak.
