At times like that, I think the happiest thing is simply to head to a Korean snack spot without overthinking it. This time, I visited Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch.

Being inside Yeouido IFC Mall made it incredibly easy to get to. It sits along the mall’s shop-lined corridor, so it is easy to stop by while shopping or running errands, and it is conveniently located for office workers coming for lunch. Yeouido has so many offices that deciding what to eat at lunchtime is practically a little daily assignment, right?

That is when Korean snack food makes a surprisingly good choice: simple, but filling. We ordered the ₩25,000 set that day. At first, I wondered whether it would be enough for three people, but as the dishes started arriving one by one, the selection was more substantial than I expected.

Because it is inside IFC Mall, it is easy to use as a meeting point and to pair with other plans such as shopping or a movie. Going out of your way for a famous restaurant is great, of course, but sometimes a nearby place that is tasty and quick is even more welcome.

Another thing I liked that day was how kind the staff were. They responded warmly when we ordered or asked for what we needed, and best of all, the food came out much faster than expected. That is especially important at lunchtime, right? Great food matters, but a long wait can make you feel rushed. Since the dishes arrived quickly, we could enjoy our meal at an easy pace.
