The interior of Fluffy Bake Shop, a dessert spot near Gongdeok Station, was clean and cozy overall. The space isn't cluttered, it's well organized, and it was nice to browse the desserts and take my time choosing. The café was quiet too, good for spending time at a relaxed pace 👏 The floor-to-ceiling windows in particular gave it an open feel, and I thought it would be great to come alone for a coffee and dessert.

Fluffy Bake Shop makes its madeleines, financiers, salt bread, and more right in the store! That's probably why the fresh-baked scent hits you as soon as you walk in, making the desserts look even more delicious 👍

They don't just use any butter either — apparently they use Lescure Charentes-Poitou AOP butter, which made me even more excited. Since everything's made in-house and they're careful about the butter too, I think anyone who loves madeleines, financiers, salt bread, or egg tarts would enjoy these even more 🤗

The salt bread at Fluffy Bake Shop is plain and crisp on the outside, soft and moist inside — great texture. There's a subtle salty note, so anyone who likes a not-too-sweet bread would enjoy this!

The madeleines come in a variety of flavors, soft and moist with great buttery flavor!! Not too sweet either, so easy to eat without feeling guilty, and they went really well with coffee.

Financiers

The financiers had a slightly crisp exterior and a moist, soft interior — really tasty. There's a subtle nutty butter flavor, so the plain-yet-nutty taste was great! The size isn't too much either, perfect to have one with coffee or as a snack.

Egg tart

The egg tart has crisp pastry on the outside and is packed with soft egg filling inside, smooth like pudding and completely delicious!
