I love bread, so I often go to bakery cafés — sometimes for a relaxed date, and sometimes just to pack bread to go. The bread and coffee here are always so good that I leave satisfied every time.

Location and parking at Baedagol Bakery House in Wondang, Goyang

I got there quickly after an early lunch, and there were already a lot of other guests ahead of me.

1st and 2nd floor seating and the rooftop terrace
This is the 1st floor. It's great for group dinners, family gatherings, and parent meetups.

And this is the 2nd floor.

Both floors have floor-to-ceiling windows, and the natural light was so healing.

It was clean and had a really nice atmosphere.

There's also an outdoor rooftop terrace. This area is a no-kids zone for safety reasons.

Bread inside the showcase
Now let's look at what kinds of bread they have at Baedagol Bakery House, this Wondang bakery café in Goyang.

Inside the showcase there was a variety of cakes and bread, all beautifully presented and looking delicious.

At most bakery cafés the bread is left out in the open, which never felt hygienic or trustworthy to me,

but at Baedagol Bakery House, all the bread is kept inside the showcase, so I could buy it with confidence.

The showcase has an automatic door — you just press the button to use it.

Salt bread, scones, cream bread, croissants, cheese bread, financiers, red bean bread, sandwiches, mocha bread, fig campagne.

Baguettes, potato bread, mont blanc, sweet potato bread, tarts, tiramisu, slice cakes, and more — the case was packed with all kinds of bread. From sweet to plain, there was plenty to choose from depending on your taste.

Bread we packed to go and shared with family
I decided to pack some to go and share with my family.

It was so delicious it all disappeared within a day. The texture was soft and tasty. The squid ink bread was the best of all.
