I've fallen for bread again lately and really should hold back, but I keep wanting more — I'm basically eating it every day now. Salt bread especially has become such a weakness. Craving good, varied salt bread, I went to Boulangerie Tan, Hyundai Department Store KINTEX, a well-known bakery in Goyang for salt bread, and wanted to share it with you.

What's on the display shelves?

Boulangerie Tan is a hot bakery from Unjeong Choronggot Village, and I was so happy to see it's opened in Hyundai Department Store too! There are so many tempting breads — including cornet pies like vanilla cornet pie, croquant caramel cornet pie, and pistachio cornet pie. I had a cornet pie before and it was crisp and sweet, a perfect match with coffee.

There's also a wide range of salt bread! Varieties include glutinous rice salt bread, red bean butter salt bread, garlic butter salt bread, gourmet butter salt bread, mentaiko (pollock roe) potato salt bread, choco cream salt bread, and milk cream salt bread.

There's also chocolate baguette, fig cream cheese baguette, jambon fromage (ham and cheese) sandwich, onion basil chicken ciabatta, sweet pumpkin cream cheese ciabatta, and olive cheese ciabatta — ciabatta being one of my favorites.

The gourmet butter salt bread was also super delicious. Sharing it with friends, it disappeared in no time!!

The choco salt bread was total honey-flavored bliss too. Really good paired with iced Americano as dessert.
