Yeouido bar for butter garlic king shrimp and lamb rack: Nani

I was looking for a nice-atmosphere bar in Yeouido and ended up at Nani Yeouido Branch. This time I tried the premium lamb shoulder rack and the butter garlic king shrimp.

Cutting to the chase — everything I ate that day was genuinely satisfying, start to finish. If you like lamb, I really recommend the shoulder rack eaten right when it's hot!

It's a great spot for evening plans or drinks in Yeouido, so it worked fine as an after-work visit too.

What is the atmosphere like inside Nani Yeouido Branch?

Nani Yeouido Branch is an izakaya where you can enjoy a nice evening in Yeouido. Since Yeouido has so many office workers, there's no shortage of restaurants and bars, but finding one where the food is genuinely good takes some thought.

Nani Yeouido Branch has a wide range of dishes that pair well with drinks, so it works both for a light drink and for a proper dinner with alcohol.

Above all, both dishes I ordered this time were a hit, so overall satisfaction was high.

Premium lamb shoulder rack, 43,000 won: any gamey smell?

The first dish I ordered was Nani Yeouido Branch's premium lamb shoulder rack for ₩43,000.

Lamb can be a hit-or-miss dish because of its distinct smell, but this one had almost no gamey odor at all when I ate it. So even people who are usually sensitive to lamb's smell could probably give it a try comfortably.

And I really recommend eating the lamb the moment it arrives, while it's still hot! My first bite had the juices and meat flavor fully alive, and it was so good. The outside was nicely cooked and the inside stayed moist, giving a savory taste with every chew.

The lamb itself tasted good enough that I was happy eating it plain, without piling on extra sides. It was still fine once it cooled down, but personally the very first bite was overwhelmingly the best. I'd recommend eating a few pieces while it's hot before you get busy taking photos.

If you're looking for a place in Yeouido to enjoy lamb ribs with drinks, this is a dish worth remembering.

Butter garlic king shrimp, 33,000 won: shrimp size and sauce

And then there was Nani Yeouido Branch's butter garlic king shrimp for ₩33,000, which exceeded my expectations.

You immediately understand why 'king shrimp' is in the name once you see it. The shrimp were genuinely large and the portion was generous, so it looked great the moment it landed on the table.

As someone who loves shrimp, this dish was pretty much made for me. The plump, springy texture of the shrimp was great, but what I really loved was the butter garlic sauce! The rich, savory flavor of the butter combined with garlic aroma paired perfectly with the shrimp. Butter sauce can sometimes feel too greasy or heavy, but eating it with the shrimp, I kept reaching for more.

Because the shrimp were so large, the texture with each bite was satisfying, and the sauce coated everything well right through to the last piece. Personally, if the lamb is the main event, the butter garlic king shrimp is the dish that really boosts satisfaction when ordered alongside it.

Best order for two people at Nani Yeouido Branch

Ordering the lamb shoulder rack and the butter garlic king shrimp together at Nani Yeouido Branch felt like a really good choice. Going from the juicy, meaty flavor of the lamb to the savory, salty taste of the butter garlic shrimp gave two different kinds of appeal, so it never got boring.

Being able to mix in seafood between bites of meat, rather than just eating meat non-stop, made the combination even better.

It's especially a great combo for two people who want to have a drink together and try a bit of everything.

Why Nani Yeouido Branch is worth a second visit in Yeouido

Honestly, some bars with a great atmosphere fall a bit short on food, and some places with delicious food don't have the atmosphere for lingering over drinks.

This visit to Nani Yeouido Branch left me genuinely satisfied with the food itself. The lamb in particular had almost no gamey smell and had great flavor when eaten hot, and the butter garlic king shrimp — with its large shrimp and delicious sauce — stuck with me.

If I had to pick just one, it'd be a tough call, but personally I'd recommend ordering both together. If you're going on a date in Yeouido, want a good meal with drinks after work, or are simply looking for a change from your usual anju (drinking snacks), this place is worth a visit.

This was a place where I left having enjoyed absolutely everything, start to finish! Next time I'd like to add other menu items too.
