Today I visited Marblejeong, a Seongsu-dong restaurant near Seongsu-dong and Ttukseom Station where you can really enjoy top-quality beef!!

You can taste 1++ Korean beef with marbling that melts in your mouth and outstanding texture, so it's a perfect spot for anyone looking for a proper Seongsu Station restaurant haha

So let me walk you through the fantastic mixed grill, the solid side dishes, and the special service I fell for after trying it myself!
Where is Marblejeong, and what is the restaurant like?
Marblejeong is on the 2nd floor of 57 Seongsu-ilro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, in an alley between Ttukseom Station and Seongsu Station, so it's really convenient to get to by public transit.

Once you step inside, a clean yet upscale interior greets you, and it has a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for chatting comfortably while enjoying a great meal.

It's such a popular place that it gets crowded during peak hours and group dinner times, so I'd recommend arriving a bit early! Being able to enjoy Korean beef leisurely in such a clean space is really what makes it one of my favorite recommendations in Seongsu.
Marblejeong's menu and prices
Marblejeong's menu includes signature items like the 1++ mixed grill and specialty cuts, along with solid pairings like doenjang stew (soybean paste stew) and cold noodles that go great with the meat. Sitting down and looking over the menu, everything was neatly organized and easy to choose from.

Really great for ordering according to your taste.
What side dishes come with the meal?
Marblejeong's side dishes come out neatly arranged with fresh salad, myeongi namul (wild garlic leaves), various pickled vegetables, and special sauces. The table gets nicely filled with these sides before the meat arrives, and every single one pairs perfectly with the beef.

They cut through the richness of the beef and keep your palate feeling fresh, playing a solid supporting role.

The 1++ Korean beef mixed grill, cooked by the server
The star of the day was Marblejeong's 1++ mixed beef grill. Just seeing the bright red color and gorgeous marbling on the plate made me gasp.

After it was lightly grilled on the pan and I took a bite, it melted so smoothly I barely needed to chew, and the rich juices spread through my mouth—it was truly a work of art.

Isn't the visual of the meat amazing haha. Being 1++ grade really shows in the quality, and it looked delicious just by looking at it!!

The staff grilled the meat for us themselves, which was a huge plus since we could just eat comfortably!! They also grilled asparagus, mushroom, and potato as a garnish, which I enjoyed a lot haha.
Being top-grade 1++ beef, even dipped lightly in just salt it had an incredible flavor that made my eyes widen.
Doenjang stew with beef brisket to finish
After enjoying the meat, I ordered Marblejeong's dessert doenjang stew to fill up properly.

The doenjang stew had brisket in it too, so the broth was rich with meaty flavor. You know doenjang stew needs meat in it to be really delicious, right~?

It also had a ton of vegetables in it, so eating the vegetables together with the meat was really delicious haha.

The stone pot came filled with a rich, savory broth loaded with vegetables and tofu, which was perfect for warming up your stomach. It was so good that I finished a whole bowl of rice with the rich doenjang broth.
Cold noodles alongside the beef
We also enjoyed refreshing cold noodles, the ultimate partner that can never be missing when eating meat.
The broth, topped with fine ice, was so tangy-sweet yet clean that it refreshed my palate perfectly after the richness of the meat.
Eating it together with the leftover 1++ beef made for the perfect finish.
Free Häagen-Dazs ice cream for writing a review
When I finished the meal and was about to get up, the staff offered a free Häagen-Dazs ice cream from the store if I wrote a review.
I wrote the review right away and got the Häagen-Dazs ice cream as a free treat haha.

Cleansing my palate sweetly with such a fancy dessert felt like the perfect finale to the whole course, and I was really touched right until the end.
