Korean BBQ buffet in Yeongjong, Incheon: Set C beef refills, Jangsodam

In short

Jangsodam Yeongjong Direct Store (장소담 영종직영점) is an all-you-can-eat eel, beef and pork buffet in Haneul City, Yeongjong, Incheon. On a Saturday lunch a couple ordered Set C, the eel-free option at 32,000 won per person, and worked through a full plate of beef, yukhoe (beef tartare) refills, pork belly and pork neck, Teumsae ramyeon (spicy instant noodles) and a kimchi pancake fried to order. At Jangsodam the charcoal stayed hot to the last bite and the specials arrived freshly made from the kiosk, which makes it the gold standard for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ in Yeongjong.

An honest review after demolishing all-you-can-eat eel, beef and pork in Yeongjong

Jangsodam Yeongjong Direct Store in one line

  • Went with Set C for two adults (beef, yukhoe, pork, seasoned crab, ramyeon, rice, full table setting included)
  • Restaurant is spacious and clean, parking was easy (probably because the building still has a lot of vacant units)
  • Owner and staff were super friendly
  • Meat quality was way better than other all-you-can-eat spots
  • The self-bar focuses on quality over quantity, and the quality is great
  • Looks perfect for family gatherings or company dinners too

*Closed on Chuseok Day 2026 / Mon–Sun 11:00–23:00 / Naver Reservation available / Basement parking in the building (as of Sept 2026 the building had a lot of vacant units, so parking was very spacious and easy!)

Exterior of Jangsodam in Haneul City, Yeongjong

There are quietly a lot of all-you-can-eat hotspots in Yeongjong's Haneul City. I heard Jangsodam, where you can enjoy eel, beef, and pork all as all-you-can-eat, was hot right now, so I went to check it out.

All-you-can-eat standing sign outside the building entrance

Right from the building entrance, the eye-catching standing signs grab your attention. I've seen plenty of places with all-you-can-eat meat, but all-you-can-eat eel too? That's wild.

The restaurant is really spacious and clean! There are no private rooms, but the space is a good size for group dinners. Naver Reservation is also available, so it's worth keeping in mind when looking for a company dinner spot.

Jangsodam set menu and price guide

Which set to order? Sets A to D and their prices

Ordered Set C for two / beef + yukhoe + seasoned crab + pork + chef's specials + ramyeon + soda + rice / ₩32,000 per person

  • Set A, all-you-can-eat including eel (₩39,000)
  • Set B, eel and pork (no beef) (₩34,000)
  • Set C, all-you-can-eat excluding eel (₩32,000)
  • Set D, all-you-can-eat pork and dakgalbi (spicy chicken) (₩21,000)

With such a variety of combinations to choose from, we went with Set C, unlimited minus the eel! But then every single table besides ours was eating eel, so... haha, I kind of regretted not getting eel too. It looked so plump and delicious! If you love eel, definitely consider Set A.

Jangsodam dining hall filled with Saturday lunch guests

Saturday lunch at Jangsodam: the room and the wrap vegetables

We visited at noon on a Saturday and the place was already more than half full. There were plenty of two-person tables like ours, but with a holiday coming up, there were a lot of family gatherings with two tables pushed together! Many were families with parents, kids and grandkids — probably because the all-you-can-eat spread has such a good variety of food.

It's been a while since I've seen an all-you-can-eat meat place stock this much variety of wrap vegetables. Different types of lettuce, plus perilla leaves and even napa cabbage!!! Adults especially love wrapping their meat, so that explains why there were so many family groups — nodding along.

Pork is a self-serve system from the bar with no need to call staff (beef is ordered for refills via kiosk). Even for all-you-can-eat, the meat looked thick and good quality. There was also plenty of dakgalbi, sausage and other grilling items that kids love!

Just a note — different meats use different grill plates, so keep that in mind.

The vegetables and sauces to go with the meat were all thoughtfully prepared too. There was cheongyang chili, so I thought, this place really knows its stuff, haha. Cheongyang chili is a must at a meat restaurant, isn't it...?! Great.

Why the self-serve bar is small: specials made to order at the kiosk

The self-bar doesn't have a huge number of dishes, but everything on it is quality and delicious. Especially that sundae (blood sausage) sitting neatly in the steamer!! Even with the organ meat included!! It really tastes just like the sundae from a street cart, haha, so good.

And! I'll explain below, but there's a reason the self-bar menu is short. You just order whatever you want to eat from the kiosk, and they make it fresh and bring it to you piping hot (this is the chef's specials). Other all-you-can-eat buffets pile up fried food or pancakes ahead of time on the self-bar, so it goes cold and soggy and loses flavor — but at Jangsodam, you only request what you actually want to eat and it's made to order right then, so it doesn't taste like buffet food at all, it's really delicious.

All-you-can-eat ramyeon, is that even real? And have you ever seen an all-you-can-eat place with this many types of ramyeon? I sure haven't. Soda, ice cream, coffee — just a perfectly complete lineup. This, I'd say, is the gold standard of all-you-can-eat.

A full plate of beef and yukhoe

A full plate of beef and yukhoe, with charcoal hot to the end

They set up a full plate of beef for you first. This was the first time I'd seen a place that also serves yukhoe (beef tartare), so I was very satisfied.

The meat quality exceeded expectations too. No gamey smell at all!

The basic table setting. Those pickled peppers were another highlight. If cheongyang chili is too spicy for you, eating it with those pickled peppers and meat means you could keep eating forever.

While you're carefully working through what you grabbed from the self-bar, the charcoal comes in.

Charcoal grill brought to the table

The charcoal was crazy strong — even after eating a ton of meat, the fire kept blazing all the way through, which was great. At meat restaurants the coal usually keeps weakening and you have to keep asking for more, which gets annoying — but Jangsodam's charcoal is a champion, stays strong the whole time.

Starting off, of course you have to go with woosamgyeop (thin-sliced beef brisket) since it cooks fast. Grilled quickly, eaten quickly.

Zero gamey taste, super delicious!!!!!!!

The sirloin came in big chunks too, and the yukhoe was seasoned really well, so it was genuinely delicious.

Seasoned crab, a paid refill menu item

Seasoned crab costs extra, and the kimchi pancake is mixed from scratch

Seasoned crab is basically the only paid refill menu item, but it's also a total rice-thief. The seasoning is really something.......... When you're getting toward the end of the beef plate, one bite of this seasoned crab totally refreshes you.

These are the chef's specials I mentioned above. You just order whatever you want to eat via the kiosk like this.

Kiosk menu for ordering chef's specials

I wanted to order everything, but because I was already full, I just ordered the kimchi pancake, which I wanted most. I thought it would be some frozen ready-made thing warmed up, but what is this. It's actually made from fresh batter and pan-fried!!!!!!!!!!! And other tables were also ordering it, several servings going out, and the table next to us said 'the kimchi pancake here is really good' — haha, sounded like a repeat customer. It came out freshly pan-fried and was so delicious. If my stomach had allowed it, I would've ordered one more, kind of a shame.

We also refilled the yukhoe, which was amazing. Sometimes the owner serves it personally, and sometimes a serving robot brings it out like this.

Let's indulge and pile it all generously on rice.

Pork time: pork belly and neck, then Teumsae ramyeon and steamed egg

Now it's pork time. Not being greedy, let's try just some pork belly and pork neck.

How is pork belly this delicious?;;;;;;;;;;; And if you look at the cut, it's got that tasty part with the cartilage attached.

The pork neck was thick and springy too. Ah, do we actually prefer pork to beef...? Haha. With two of us eating a full plate of beef plus yukhoe refills and some pork, we were about to burst.

Yes~ ramyeon time~

There was jjinnitsae ramyeon in the ramyeon zone, how could I resist? They boiled it up for us right away, and respecting my husband's curiosity about the cheese-bomb steamed egg, we ordered one of those too (paid item).

They brought over rice balls to eat alongside the ramyeon and steamed egg, haha.

The cheese-bomb steamed egg really lived up to its name — the savory cheese flavor filled every bite the whole way through, and it went perfectly with the ramyeon. Even though we said we were full, we cleared the steamed egg and ramyeon too.........

And then we finished off with ice cream for dessert before heading out. As someone who's a big eater with real expertise in all-you-can-eat (haha), I'd say Jangsodam is

a restaurant that nails the basics — the true gold standard of all-you-can-eat

if I had to describe it.
