Allegro is a 3rd-floor Italian dining spot very close to Exit 2 of Songpanaru Station. It's open Mon, Wed–Sun 12:00–23:00, with a break time from 15:00–18:00, and there are two jazz sets, at 7:30 PM and 8:25 PM.

In conclusion, the jazz performance was so satisfying that I fully recommend Allegro as a unique indoor date spot in Jamsil. The performing artists seem to change daily, so I'd recommend checking Instagram before visiting :)

It's super close to Songpanaru Station! If you visit for lunch, the pasta menu is ₩16,000 and the entire menu is said to be 15% off, so it might be worth a lunch visit too.

Seats at Allegro: every table sees the stage

Every table at Allegro is set up so you can watch the jazz performance. The exterior alone looked upscale and got me excited, and with plenty of two-person tables and a romantic atmosphere, this place seems set to become well known as a unique indoor date spot in Jamsil and Songpa.

White wine: Belleterre Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2024 (69,000 won)

I like wine in general, so I ordered a bottle at Allegro too. We picked the 'Belleterre Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2024' (₩69,000), and it was delicious!! If you're on the fence about which wine to get, just try it.

It's a southern French wine that pairs especially well with seafood dishes, and its dry, floral, and refreshing taste went really well with the food here.

Seafood salad and cream gnocchi at Allegro

The first dish we ordered was the 'seafood salad', Allegro's best-selling menu item. Fragrant olive oil, a refreshing white balsamic sauce, seaweed, olives, bell peppers, and onions added varied texture, and it was packed with a seafood mix of octopus, shrimp, mussels, and squid.

The occasional bite of tangy tomato was such a great kick! It really tasted like the textbook definition of a great wine snack, so if you're ordering wine here, I'd definitely recommend getting this seafood salad.

The second dish was cream gnocchi. Chewy, slightly crisp gnocchi went well with the smooth, milky white cream sauce. It paired nicely with the refreshing white wine, so this dish is a recommend too.

The best pairing at Allegro is the live jazz set

Honestly, the best side dish at Allegro is the lively jazz performance. Right in front of us, the session played keyboard, guitar, double bass, and drums, groove after groove, plus a sweet vocal on top. Just sitting there made the atmosphere so romantic that I'd highly, highly recommend it as an anniversary spot in Jamsil!

Sous-vide pork steak

The third dish was a sous-vide pork steak that trapped all its juicy flavor beautifully. Cooked sous-vide, it was tender and moist with no dryness at all, and it was delicious. The white cream sauce that came with it also went really well, and the salty, crispy fries were excellent alongside it.

Anniversary lettering dessert and candle service

Next up, the long-awaited anniversary lettering dessert! They even added candles, hehe >0<. The dessert consisted of crème brûlée and chocolate brownie, and honestly, the crème brûlée here is seriously so good — not a hint of greasiness, just sweet, luxurious custard cream, plus that crackly sugar coating for great texture!

With lettering and candle service included, if you're looking for an anniversary spot in Jamsil, I'd fully, fully recommend this.
