Fire-noodle-spicy bone grill pasta set in Busan: Paldo Ppyeogui

I had one of those days where I was fuming from morning to night, so I went looking for a spicy fix that would actually blow off some steam 🔥 Enter Suyeong's "Paldo Ppyeogui" 🤍 my friend and I really do love spicy food ㅜㅜ

Where is Paldo Ppyeogui in Suyeong, and what is the restaurant like?

Paldo Ppyeogui Suyeong Main Branch is on the 1st floor at 11 Gampo-ro 102beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan, open 17:00–02:00. The two of us set out chasing spicy food and somehow ended up all the way in Suyeong~~~~ if we can make it to Jangsan, we can make it to Suyeong! 💦💦💦

We went in first and put in our order~~ just thinking about the spicy flavor already had me drooling

There were group parties as well as couples dining, and I managed to grab a shot once everyone cleared out haha 📸 the tables were spaced nicely apart too, so nice and relaxed~~

Ordering the Pasta Set (and skipping the Kelly beer 2+1)

Bone grill with cream pasta?.. how exciting is that ㅜㅜ 🤍 We were starving so we went with the pasta set! There was a Kelly draft beer 2+1 promo running.. we debated it a hundred times but ended up going with soju instead.. if you get too full you can't eat much of the food~~

There's even a little tip on how to best enjoy the bone grill — I followed it exactly 💨

Disposable gloves are provided, and there are high chairs too for anyone coming with a little one!

Side dishes, steamed egg and Bushman bread with the set

The side dishes at Paldo Ppyeogui included pickled radish, baek-kimchi (white kimchi), potato salad, coleslaw, and steamed egg 💛 the steamed egg comes as a basic side, so only order extra if you want more! So soft and jiggly, mini-sized and super cute right?

Bushman bread comes with the set!! I love this thing so much ㅜㅜ 🤍 it's tasty even plain, but I gave the recommended eating method a proper try @_@

Small Pasta Set, 43,000 won: spicy is about fire-noodle level

Since there were two of us, we went with the small Pasta Set at Paldo Ppyeogui!

The bone grill is the main dish, but getting cream pasta with the set too was so great (●'◡'●) You can choose between salt-grilled, soy sauce, mild spicy, and spicy. Mild spicy is about Shin Ramyun level! Spicy is about fire noodle (buldak) level 🌶️ There's an extra charge if you want extra-hot — keep that in mind! (Small +₩2,000, Medium +₩3,000, Large +₩4,000) We went with spicy haha

The bone grill arrived ㅜㅜ it's huge in size and the portion is generous too! Everything comes fully cooked so you can dig in right away, and if it cools down while you're eating, you can reheat it

One piece of bone grill is the size of a palm

One piece of Paldo Ppyeogui bone grill meat was seriously huge, so I had to snap a photo out of pure surprise.. it's literally the size of a palm.. even wrapped in gim (seaweed) it's the size of a face, no joke

There's so much meat on the bone and it's really tender.. just a light touch with the chopsticks and it falls apart completely. It's juicy, not dry at all, and dipping the pulled meat in sauce was insanely delicious 🧡 confirmed Suyeong must-visit..

How the owner tells you to eat the bone grill

The owner came over and showed us how to eat it — spread cream cheese on the Bushman bread, add coleslaw, then top with the meat, and it's insanely good 🧡 who even thought of this combination lol lol lol everything was genuinely delicious,, mine was a bit lacking in spice so I kept dipping the bread straight into the sauce!

The cream pasta showed up 🍝🤍 I figured the portion would be small since it came with the set but no~~~ I was surprised at how much there was 👀 loaded with sauce too

Spicy bone grill with cream pasta: was it worth it?

When the bone grill got too spicy, I'd take a bite of pasta, then top some Bushman bread with pasta, then top it again with meat lol lol lol lol both the flavor and the value were so good,, I think I'll be coming back often..hehe the steamed egg was especially delicious! The owner kept checking in on whether we needed anything, refilled the side dishes, and kindly walked us through how to eat everything — it was already delicious, but that made it taste even better. Next time I'll go extra-hot and add Bushman bread too 🤍 totally blew off all my stress, this place is the best

The restroom at Paldo Ppyeogui is located outside! Head out and turn right, and you'll find a very clean, spacious restroom — just a heads-up 🚻
