❝ Bisyoku Gwangan Branch ❞ Gwangalli restaurant
I went to Bisyoku Gwangan Branch, a yakiniku (Japanese-style grilled meat) restaurant great for a date in Gwangalli. It's located near Gwangalli Beach, so it's perfect to visit for dinner after checking out the ocean view. It's not far from the main Gwangalli street either, so it's easy to fit into a date course. Let me introduce Bisyoku Gwangan Branch!
Where is Bisyoku Gwangan Branch? Near the Gwangalli waterside park fish market

It's located near where a lot of the raw fish sashimi centers are around Gwangalli waterside park. I'd recommend this as a dinner spot for travelers to Busan who want to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

Above all, Bisyoku had a completely different vibe from your typical Korean BBQ place. The Japanese atmosphere is insane,, please have your date here.

Inside Bisyoku Gwangan Branch: tables and side-by-side bar seats
The moment you walk into Bisyoku Gwangan Branch, you feel a cozy Japanese vibe, and the dim lighting mixed with wood-toned interior and plants scattered around made it feel quite atmospheric.

It gave a slight feeling of being on a trip to Japan, and since the lighting isn't too bright, it's especially well-suited as an evening date spot. Besides the tables, there are also bar-style seats where you sit side by side while grilling meat, which seemed perfect for couples wanting an intimate meal. In fact, a lot of people come here for dates or anniversary dinners.

Yasashi Set price at Bisyoku: 91,000 won for two
The price is a bit on the higher side. We got the Yasashi Set: 200g of premium pork loin plus 300g of pork belly.

They have soju and beer, plus sake too : ) You know how surprisingly hard it is to find soju in Gwangalli sometimes, haha ,, don't worry and come on over haha
- Yasashi Set 79.0
- Zero Coke 2.0
- Bisyoku handmade gyoza 4pc 10.0
- = ₩91,000

Side dishes came out, and the friendly staff grilled the first piece for us — it had such deep, savory flavor.

How do you eat yakiniku at Bisyoku Gwangan Branch?
The advantage of yakiniku is that you grill the meat little by little over a Japanese-style brazier, so you can eat it exactly to your preferred doneness right away! Unlike a typical Korean BBQ place where you throw everything on at once, grilling piece by piece while chatting made the meal feel relaxed. It was a style especially good for a slow date-night dinner.

300g of pork belly in the Yasashi Set
The pork belly had just the right amount of fat, giving it a savory, moist taste. As it grilled to a golden brown on the fire, the savory aroma rose up — yakiniku really is fun for grilling and eating right away like this 🔥

The pork belly was thinner than the usual kind you eat, which made for a noticeably more tender texture 🥩✨ As it grilled over the brazier, the outside turned golden brown while the inside stayed moist and soft, so we could eat it comfortably without any chewiness.

The moderate amount of fat added richness while staying on the light side rather than greasy, so I kept reaching for more. Grilling it piece by piece really kept the juiciness and savory flavor alive, giving it a slightly different feel from the usual pork belly. Combined with that distinct charcoal aroma of yakiniku, the flavor felt even richer 🔥

Eaten with the grilled vegetables, it was salty just enough that nothing got tiresome — the two of us ended up finishing 500 grams!

200g premium pork loin with special sauce and egg yolk
Bisyoku Gwangan Branch's premium pork loin had a tender texture with a clean yet savory taste that really came through. They also told us to eat it with the special sauce and egg yolk, and it just melted in my mouth,

It made me doubt whether this was really pork,, the pork neck went down so smoothly with such deep flavor, unbelievably tender.

The surprise standout: Bisyoku's handmade gyoza
And the surprisingly satisfying menu item was the handmade gyoza (dumplings). The outside was crisp, the inside moist, and the filling's flavor came through well. After eating meat continuously, tossing in gyoza in between refreshed the palate nicely — good to order together.

Is Bisyoku Gwangan Branch worth it? Who should go
✅ Bisyoku Gwangan Branch, a yakiniku restaurant great for a date in Gwangalli. It's a great atmosphere for pairing meat with a drink, making it fitting not only for an evening date but also for anniversaries or special occasions. Personally, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a yakiniku spot with real atmosphere rather than a typical Gwangalli BBQ place. If you're planning a date that includes grilling delicious meat while enjoying the Japanese vibe, following a walk along Gwangalli Beach and a good-atmosphere dinner, Bisyoku Gwangan Branch is worth a visit ✨🥩
