Today I'm bringing you a review of the all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu I had at Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch, a Namwirye Station favorite! A lot of you love shabu-shabu, right~! I especially love it so much I even make it at home. This time I got to enjoy beef, fresh vegetables, and even dessert all as unlimited refills at Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch, and I had a great time!

What does the window-lit dining room feel like?
Walking into Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch, the wide-open, spacious dining room immediately caught my eye. The floor-to-ceiling windows gave a great view of the surroundings. Above all, the bright atmosphere was really nice.

Also, the tables were big and spaced out well, so it felt comfortable and pleasant!! I loved the open, airy feeling! Oh, and I also spotted tables separated by partitions. I actually saw some customers there having a get-together~
Kiosk ordering and the vegetable self-bar at Dadam
At Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch, after being seated wherever they show you, you order first via kiosk! I ordered according to our headcount. After that, you're free to grab vegetables and meat and cook up your own shabu-shabu and wolnamssam. Let me show you in a bit more detail now!

There was a note explaining that Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch's owner worked for 20 years as a vegetable wholesaler at Garak Market, and they hand-select fresh vegetables to serve. As you can see in the photos, they had a huge variety of fresh vegetables stocked up! I especially love vegetables, so it was fun picking and choosing~ It was great being able to freely grab whatever suited my taste! The veggies for shabu-shabu and for wolnamssam are kept separate, so just check carefully and take only what you'll eat~~
Beef neck vs beef belly: what's the difference?
At Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch, there are two kinds of meat prepared - beef neck and beef belly - both all-you-can-eat. Since the meat is unlimited, being able to eat as much as I wanted was great!! Being able to eat according to my own preference was really satisfying.
I added a comparison photo so you can check it out more closely~! The beef neck on the left had less fat, so it was lighter and cleaner to eat, while the beef belly on the right had a soft, nutty flavor haha. Both were delicious, so I balanced it out and grabbed some of each~~ Being able to eat to my own taste was great!

Once the broth was set up and the vegetables, meat, and wolnamssam ingredients I'd gathered were all ready, the basic prep was done~~ Now it was just time to cook everything up and enjoy!!!

I was so eager to eat, just waiting for the broth to boil!! Once it finally boiled, I loaded up on the delicious vegetables~ If you look at the photos, you can really see how fresh they were~ There were even some types of vegetables you don't often see, so it was fun picking through them all!!

After the vegetables, in went the meat!! The delicious shabu-shabu was slowly coming together~~ I was getting more and more curious what it would taste like!!
Wolnamssam wraps while the broth heats up
While waiting for the shabu-shabu to cook, or in between, making wolnamssam like this is clean and nice! Wrapping fresh vegetables into wolnamssam fills your mouth with freshness! It's a real treat~ As someone who loves vegetables, being able to eat both raw and cooked veggies made for a great time.

How did the beef shabu-shabu taste?
Once the shabu-shabu was nicely cooked, you eat the vegetables and meat together like this. The broth's seasoning was just right, spicy and clean, the vegetables were fresh with great texture, and the meat was soft and nutty, so the compliments just came out naturally haha. Once the meat runs out you can refill it, which was even more satisfying! Being able to grab whatever I liked, whenever I liked, was comfortable and nice~~

Finishing with kalguksu and fried rice
Once you finish the shabu-shabu, you can have kalguksu and fried rice hahaha. I was so full I almost skipped both, but I was curious about the kalguksu so I grabbed just a little! The taste of the kalguksu speaks for itself~~~ It was the perfect way to finish off the shabu-shabu haha. I really wanted the fried rice too, but I'd eaten so much shabu-shabu I was too full, so I saved it for next time haha. Can't leave food behind, after all.

Free coffee and ice cream for dessert
And here's another thing I loved!! Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch has a coffee machine and an ice cream machine, so I got to have coffee and ice cream too hahaha. Being able to finish the meal like this made me think it'd be perfect for family gatherings or hangouts with friends haha. Not having to move to a separate café to get coffee was great~~ And that's how this delicious meal wrapped up!

Oh, and on the way out I noticed they also sell takeout! If you're interested in shabu-shabu you can enjoy at home, check this out~~!
At Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam, a Wirye favorite, I loved getting to eat as much beef shabu-shabu and wolnamssam as I wanted alongside a variety of fresh vegetables~ Next time I'm craving good shabu-shabu or wolnamssam again, I'd love to come back!
