Inside the KHODE store: what it feels like and which brands it carries

I made it to KHODE! It was such a freshly opened store, and there were so many people! KHODE is apparently a beauty platform newly launched by Hyundai Department Store. Visiting in person, I found all kinds of brands gathered in one place. It really felt like a "platform" in the true sense.

There were so many varied products that it was fun just browsing! Body, hair, cream, cleansing oil — with all these different kinds of products, I lost track of time looking around. After thoroughly checking out things I'd always been curious about, I finally headed to the cleansing oil corner, which was my main goal for the day!

I use sunscreen every day, and I also love wearing makeup. That's why I think removing makeup matters just as much as applying it. So I'm always checking out and comparing different products. Even ones that seem similar turn out to be really different once you actually use them! URANG's Natural Cleansing Oil, an organic skincare brand I reviewed this time, left quite an impression on me too. When I visited, this product happened to be on sale in the KHODE store — just a heads up!

First off, the packaging was clean and stylish! I liked that the product description and instructions were written in detail. Apparently URANG has now expanded globally to 19 countries. Maybe that's why the English descriptions were so well done — I thought it'd make a good gift for friends visiting from abroad!

When I opened the package, there was this phrase inside!! "Wash away the heaviness and start fresh again" — I found that line quite striking. Cleansing oil is, after all, something you use at the end of the day. When it's hard to remove heavy makeup, it can feel exhausting. That made me realize how quietly important cleansing oil actually is in everyday life.

I carefully started opening the package! Oh, and there was a QR code printed on the packaging too. It added a little extra touch of charm, haha! The product comes in a pump-type bottle! The volume is 150ml~ The design was so clean and pretty that I got even more curious about how it would perform. Time to actually use it~

How URANG Natural Cleansing Oil removed eye makeup

I put URANG's Natural Cleansing Oil on my wrist and tried it over eye makeup, and it wiped off cleanly. The texture wasn't too heavy or too light, and the scent was subtle.

First I tried the URANG Natural Cleansing Oil on my wrist, haha, and the texture was neither too heavy nor too light! You can see it more clearly in the photos and video. I prefer a texture that's moderately smooth to use, so I liked that. Then I tried it on some eye makeup I do at home. I don't usually like eye makeup that smudges, so I always pick products that don't budge, haha. Curious how it would go, I tried the Natural Cleansing Oil on it~ As you can see in the last photo, it came off cleanly, and I was happy with that! I like scents that aren't too strong, and this one was subtle, so it suited me well! I think it'll be great for me to keep using going forward.

Whenever friends visit from abroad, I always like to prepare a gift, and I've noticed they love Korean cosmetics. But with color makeup or creams, preferences vary so much from person to person that gifting them can feel a bit risky.
