I usually love warm soup dishes and wolnamssam (Vietnamese fresh spring rolls), so I'd been searching around for a while, and I finally found a Namwirye Station spot that hit the spot perfectly!

Each table is also divided by partitions, so I could eat comfortably without worrying about the neighboring table — a nice touch.

You can choose your broth when ordering, and half-and-half is an option!! We ordered half clear broth and half spicy broth, and the spice level was about like Shin Ramyun — mild enough to enjoy without any worry. Once you sit down, they kindly explain what each bowl is for and how to use everything.

The best thing about this Namwirye Station favorite, Dadam Shabu Shabu, is that you can enjoy beef brisket and beef neck as much as you want with the all-you-can-eat option. At most shabu-shabu places, you end up second-guessing whether to order more meat because the portions feel skimpy. But this place's biggest point of pride is actually the fresh vegetables! The owner apparently worked as a vegetable wholesale broker at Garak Market for over 20 years. Knowing they personally pick the produce at auction and bring it in fresh every day made me trust what I was eating. I could pile on fresh vegetables and meat freely without worrying about it~

And there's an ice cream and coffee machine, so you can enjoy affogato for dessert, and they're well set up so you can make porridge after finishing your shabu-shabu.

How to load meat, vegetables and wolnamssam wraps in order

Now you grab as much meat, vegetables and wolnamssam ingredients as you want, head to your table, and once the broth starts boiling, in go these fresh ingredients!

Put the vegetables into the broth first, let them boil, then quickly blanch the meat and wrap it in wolnamssam — that combination is seriously satisfying. Look at that visual!? The broth itself is so tasty that eating meat and vegetables together felt like heaven. I'm officially declaring this a genuine Namwirye Station favorite 🖤

My partner has a small mouth but makes huge wraps haha. I dipped mine in soy sauce and peanuts and it was so good I couldn't stop eating!!

Once you finish eating, a dessert corner is waiting for you~~ Ice cream and coffee are also all-you-can-eat, so I could finish things off satisfyingly to the very end. Another delicious, hearty meal today!!
