In short
Haemul Teukbyeolsi Bucheon Station branch is a stone-pot agujjim (braised monkfish) and seafood stew restaurant a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Bucheon Station in Gyeonggi. Arriving right at opening with her son, the writer ordered the ₩43,000 stone-pot monkfish set, switched to boneless for ₩2,000 more at spice level 2, and the two of them finished the seaweed soup, steamed egg, corn cheese, fried mandu wraps and ₩3,500 self-made fried rice. Hi everyone, this is Bium^^ Today I visited Haemul Teukbyeolsi, a Bucheon Station restaurant famous for its fiery stone-pot seafood stew — the place recognized on the TV show Saengsaeng Jeongbo Jangsa-ui Sin (Living Information: God of Business). I'll show you the place where the sizzling visuals, aroma, and taste of the monkfish all came together in harmony^^

Where is Haemul Teukbyeolsi Bucheon Station branch, and when is it open?
Haemul Teukbyeolsi Bucheon Station branch is located at 440-6 Buil-ro, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Bucheon Station. Hours are Mon–Fri 16:00–06:00 and weekends 11:30–06:00, with Chuseok holiday hours (the 9th and 24th–27th) running 12:00–06:00. Group seating, reservations, and takeout are all available.
Parking is available for free for 2 hours at the Sangnok Free Zone Building, and being just 5 minutes from Bucheon Station Exit 3 makes it convenient by public transit too.

Eating spicy monkfish and seafood, you naturally start craving a drink~~!!

What the dining room looks like: floor-to-ceiling windows and wide tables
The interior of Haemul Teukbyeolsi Bucheon Station branch is clean and spacious. The street-facing side has floor-to-ceiling windows, giving it a really pleasant view.
The place is spacious enough to be great for group dinners, family gatherings, or dates.
I went at a time when traffic wasn't heavy, timing it right for opening.

The warm lighting adds a cozy touch — a perfect atmosphere for eating a hearty meal and having a light drink afterward.

On the TV screen, footage of the restaurant's appearance on Saengsaeng Jeongbo Tong was playing, and it looked absolutely delicious.
Inside past the kitchen there are two restrooms, so you can use them comfortably.
Make sure to check out the review event!! A great chance to enjoy whole squid and octopus at half price^^
Each table has soy sauce, wasabi, and small dishes set out, and once you sit down, they bring you nutty roasted barley tea.

Menu and prices at Haemul Teukbyeolsi, and what we ordered
The main dishes at this Bucheon Station agujjim (monkfish stew) restaurant are stone-pot monkfish stew and seafood stew, which you can top with woo-samgyeop (thin beef brisket), octopus, udon, or whole squid. Adding fried rice or rice balls after finishing the main dish is a must!! The stone-pot jjagyechi (stir-fried chicken with instant noodles and processed cheese) and fried seafood pancake also looked like great drinking snacks.

After ordering, they first bring out cool white kimchi, savory seaweed soup, and potato salad.

The seaweed had softened nicely, making it really savory and refreshing. I drank the broth right down!!
A side of pillowy-soft steamed egg with just the right seasoning.
And corn cheese, creamy and nutty with plenty of mayonnaise.
The stretchy, soft cheese pairs really well with the spicy monkfish.
The ₩43,000 stone-pot monkfish set at spice level 2: enough for two
The stone-pot monkfish set at Haemul Teukbyeolsi Bucheon Station branch was served up like this, a really generous spread. The amount of monkfish was plenty for two people to share. You can choose spice levels from 1 to 5, and since level 2 is supposedly as spicy as Shin Ramyun, that's what we ordered. Honestly monkfish tastes even better the spicier it gets, but this spice wimp stopped there today too^^

Monkfish is a fish that takes a lot of effort to eat, so going boneless makes it way easier. That's why I always order agujjim boneless^^ Fragrant minari (water dropwort) piled on top made the visuals totally on point too^^

And thin fried mandu (dumplings), fresh out of the fryer. They brought these for us to wrap the food in — quite a generous portion for two, right?
It came out already cooked, but we turned on the flame to keep eating it hot. Spicy monkfish, sizzling away on the stone pot, eaten piping hot. Really tender and delicious.

With wasabi already mixed into the soy sauce, we were all set to eat.
The monkfish tears apart soft and moist along its grain, and with no bones, it's really easy to eat.

Dipping the boneless monkfish deep into the wasabi soy sauce, the spicy chili-pepper base combined with the savory soy sauce and I could taste a hint of sweetness. It had a clean, subtly nutty flavor.
There was also plenty of oman-dungi (button-shaped whelk-like clams) and innards.

The juices from the bean sprouts and minari blended with the savory seafood, keeping the sauce from feeling too heavy and giving it a refreshing edge. The crunchy bean sprouts were even better dipped in soy sauce.

Fried mandu wraps with steamed egg and corn cheese
The fried mandu on top of the agujjim we ordered at this Bucheon Station restaurant was crispy outside and chewy-soft inside.

Wrapping it with the clean, spicy monkfish meat and the refreshing bean sprouts and minari made for a real delicacy. And dipping the crispy fried mandu straight into the agujjim broth was also nutty and delicious.

Right when your lips start feeling the spice, taking a spoonful of this soft, nutty steamed egg is an absolutely killer combo^^

Finishing with self-made fried rice for ₩3,500
We were pretty full, but still wanted a little more, so we ordered the self-made fried rice^^ Fried rice at Haemul Teukbyeolsi Bucheon Station branch is ₩3,500.

First they turn the flame back on, and using the leftover agujjim sauce, they make you fried rice topped generously with laver and sesame seeds, giving off a nutty aroma.
Self-made fried rice made by my son!!
As always, a Korean meal isn't complete without rice at the end!! The two of us kept saying we were full, full — and still finished it all off^^

Haemul Teukbyeolsi, this Bucheon Station agujjim restaurant, is a place where you can enjoy fresh, delicious seafood and monkfish stew in a spacious, clean interior. It works well both as a proper meal and as a drinking spot, with generous main dishes and sides that leave you full. Between the comfortable atmosphere, parking, and friendly service, it's a place I'd recommend^^
