Kid-friendly restaurant near Jukjeon Station, Daegu: Etrenne Jukjeon
In short
Etrenne Jukjeon Branch is a Western-style restaurant in Dalseo, Daegu, a five-minute walk from Exit 2 of Jukjeon Station. Four adults across three generations — including parents in their 60s — plus a 22-month-old baby shared a half-and-half lasagna (potato and classic), Toowoomba pasta and a tenderloin steak set, and Etrenne had a baby chair and baby tableware ready at the table. The parents kept repeating "this place really knows what it's doing" all through the meal, making Etrenne Jukjeon a safe bet for a three-generation family outing.

If you're looking for a nice-atmosphere restaurant near Jukjeon Station, this is one I really want to recommend. I went with my parents, my husband, and our 22-month-old baby to Etrenne Jukjeon Branch, and the vibe and the food were both so satisfying that I think it'd be great not just for a family meal but as one of the best date-night restaurants in Daegu.
Where is Etrenne Jukjeon Branch, and where do you park?

After parking, cross the connecting bridge on the 2nd floor to get to the restaurant. (If you come out on the 1st floor of the parking lot, you'll have to walk a lot more.)
A Daegu restaurant with an atmosphere that works for dates too

Etrenne Jukjeon Branch isn't a huge space, but that actually made it feel cozier and more comfortable. The soft lighting and warm interior worked well together, and I was in a good mood the whole meal — there were even couples there clearly on a date.

We visited with my parents and our 22-month-old, and since they had a baby chair and baby tableware ready, there was no discomfort at all bringing the baby along. The atmosphere suited everything from family meals to anniversaries to dates.
What we ordered at Etrenne: half-and-half lasagna, Toowoomba pasta, tenderloin steak set

- Half-and-half lasagna (potato lasagna + classic lasagna)
- Toowoomba pasta
- Tenderloin steak set (bread, salad, tenderloin steak, mashed potato, aglio e olio, Bundaberg, cola)
Four adults and one baby ate together, and the portions were generous enough to satisfy everyone. Not a single dish missed. The bread that came out first was already delicious.

The outside was slightly crisp while the inside was moist, and it was served warm, which built up anticipation even before the main dishes arrived.
Half-and-half lasagna: potato and classic on one plate

I looked up reviews before visiting and saw a lot of people order this, so I picked it, and I immediately understood why it's popular. You get both the potato lasagna and the classic lasagna at once, so you can taste both charms. The classic lasagna had rich meat sauce and cheese layered together for deep flavor, while the potato lasagna had the mellow savoriness of soft potato plus a creamy sauce, making it a great default choice.
Toowoomba pasta, from a chef who came from Outback

I really love Outback's Toowoomba pasta, and since I heard Etrenne was opened by people who used to work at Outback, I had high expectations. The result exceeded them. The cream sauce was rich but not greasy at all, and the thick sauce coated the noodles well enough that I enjoyed every bite until the last one.

There was a subtle spiciness, and the shrimp and other ingredients were generous, so overall the dish was really well made. It's not easy to find a good Toowoomba pasta place, but this one was satisfying enough that I'd definitely come back. Plus I heard there's a Toowoomba pasta coupon available when you book through Naver Reservations, so next time I'm definitely going to book ahead and use it.
The tenderloin steak set at Etrenne Jukjeon

The tenderloin steak lived up to its name — really tender. It wasn't tough at all, cooked moist, and the flavor of the meat came through nicely.

The aglio e olio that came with the set was light and paired well with the steak, and with salad and a drink included too, the set felt like a well-rounded package.
How did the parents in their 60s react?
My parents are in their 60s, and from the first bite they kept complimenting the food throughout the meal.
"This is really good." "They really know what they're doing here."
My husband said the same thing while eating — "This place is really good," "We have to come back for sure." I also felt like this is the kind of place where you can't go wrong no matter what you order.

Etrenne Jukjeon Branch delivered on taste, atmosphere, and service all at once. It's a great spot for a date, but it was equally satisfying as a family meal with parents and as a restaurant to visit with a baby.
If you're near Jukjeon Station looking for a restaurant with great atmosphere, a good lasagna spot near Jukjeon Station, or a good date-night restaurant in Daegu, stop by Etrenne Jukjeon Branch. Next time, I plan to come back and use that Naver Reservations coupon too.
