Amatriciana pasta and sous-vide pork steak 3 courses: Allegro, Songpa
In short
Allegro is an Italian restaurant with live jazz in Bangi-dong, Songpa, Seoul. The prosciutto potato salad, amatriciana, and sous-vide pork shoulder steak worked well together as an appetizer-to-main lineup, with the tomato-based pasta pairing nicely with the steak. Allegro suits dates or anniversaries where atmosphere matters more than a casual meal with friends.

There are so many good-atmosphere restaurants popping up around Bangi-dong these days. This time I went to Allegro, where you can enjoy live jazz while you eat✨

What caught my eye was that, unlike a typical Italian restaurant, you get to enjoy dining and a live performance in the same space. If you've been getting tired of going to the same kind of restaurant for every date, this is a nice change of pace🎶 Especially if you're looking for pasta in Bangi-dong and atmosphere matters just as much as the food, this is worth keeping on your list.
🕯️ What's the vibe like inside Allegro?
Walking in, the lighting is low and the whole space feels calm and composed.

It's not just a room full of tables — there's a dedicated space set up for live performances, which definitely gives it a different feel from a standard Western restaurant.

In the evenings they run live jazz performances, so it's especially good for anyone who wants dinner and a show together🎷 It also seemed like a solid pick for anniversaries or dates when you want a bit more atmosphere than usual. Search for Western food restaurants near Jamsil and you'll find plenty of pasta or steak specialists, but Allegro stood out for having live music as its clear signature.
🥗 Starting light with prosciutto potato salad
We ordered the prosciutto potato salad, amatriciana, and sous-vide pork shoulder steak💛 The prosciutto potato salad came out first, and it was a nice light way to ease into the meal.

The soft potatoes plus prosciutto gave it a savory-salty highlight, and the flavors blended together naturally when eaten together. If you order just pasta and steak, the meal can feel a bit heavy, but having a salad to mix in between made the whole lineup feel more varied🥔
🍝 Amatriciana with vivid tomato flavor
For anyone searching for pasta in Bangi-dong, the amatriciana is probably the dish you're most curious about, so we ordered that too.

This is a pasta with that distinct tangy, rich tomato-base flavor, and it paired well with the steak🍅 If you prefer tomato-based pasta over something heavier like a cream pasta, this one is easier to enjoy.
Twirling the sauce into the noodles and switching between dishes in between bites, the three-menu combo worked well. If you're visiting as a pair, ordering one pasta, one main, and one side to share seems like a good setup.
🥩 The main: sous-vide pork shoulder steak
For the main, we picked the sous-vide pork shoulder steak.

Because the pork shoulder is cooked sous-vide, the texture is noticeably different from meat seared directly over high heat, and the plating came out clean and photo-ready📸 It's a good main to order when pasta alone feels like it's not quite enough and you want a meat dish too.
Eating them in order — prosciutto potato salad, then amatriciana, then the pork shoulder steak — felt like getting appetizer, pasta, and main all in one sitting, which made for a pretty satisfying meal.
🎶 If you want to add jazz to your meal
Allegro's biggest draw is really that it's not just a place to eat and leave — you get to enjoy live jazz along with your meal.

With the music added, it felt more special than an ordinary dinner, and the atmosphere suited slow conversation over a meal really well🎹 So rather than a casual spot to grab food with friends, it feels more suited to dates or anniversaries where atmosphere matters. If you've been looking for this kind of concept among Songpa restaurants, it's worth checking out.
