Starters at Mr. Ojingeo: corn cheese, seaweed soup and baek-kimchi

- Corn cheese: grilled on an iron plate, sweet and savory with a popping texture — a can't-lose combo haha
- Seaweed soup (miyeokguk): the deep, refreshing broth flavor cleans your palate right up!!
- Baek-kimchi (white kimchi): cuts through the richness of the sashimi, light and delicious
The assorted sashimi platter: flounder, rockfish and salmon

The assorted sashimi at Mr. Ojingeo Yongin Bojeong Branch comes with flounder, rockfish, and salmon!!
- Flounder: a subtle sweetness rises the more you chew, with the springy, chewy texture unique to live sashimi fully intact
- Rockfish: impressively firm and chewy with a crunchy bite, and boasts a clean taste with absolutely no fishy smell
- Salmon: melts smoothly with a savory richness that's just so good
Complimentary spicy fish stew with extra sujebi dough flakes

A complimentary spicy fish stew (maeuntang) comes with the meal!! Piled high with crown daisy and bean sprouts, the broth got richer and more refreshing the longer it boiled. The deep umami from the fish bones combined with the sharp, spicy seasoning made for a clean, satisfying finish.
Adding the hand-torn dough noodles (sujebi) was a genius move — the chewy dough soaked up the hot, spicy broth beautifully, and every bite exploded with flavor!! Unlike regular instant noodle add-ins, it didn't make the broth cloudy but added a chewy texture instead, which was really satisfying :)
