This weekend, I wanted to try a slightly special date, so I went on a yacht tour out onto the Han River ✨

But after taking this Han River yacht tour with my husband, that idea completely changed. It was honestly amazing that you can have such a special experience right in the middle of everyday life ⛵

Finding Sailing Paradise at Yeouido Hangang Park
The place was Sailing Paradise, inside Hangang Paradise near Yeouido Hangang Park.
It was easy to find because I could simply search for Sailing Paradise on the map. I had only been walking along the riverbank, but once I got out on the water, it felt like a completely different city even though I was still in Seoul 🌙

Private yacht tour prices
Honestly, when I thought of a yacht tour, I assumed it was something you only did on a special occasion, or something only wealthy people enjoyed 🤭

Prices vary a little by yacht type, group size, and time slot: a large Rosaline private tour is ₩1,500,000, a mid-large Soday private tour is ₩1,000,000, and a small private tour is about ₩450,000. It seemed popular for anniversaries and group gatherings with family or friends too 💸
Once you arrive and follow the instructions, you are guided to the boarding point.
The Han River is so familiar, but seeing it from the water instead of from above feels completely different.

I have taken regular sightseeing cruises and I love spreading out a picnic mat at Hangang Park, but

this time, we chose a yacht because we wanted to spend more private time just for us ⛵️ A Seoul Han River yacht-tour date can sound a little intimidating, but once I was there, it was more relaxed and restorative than I expected, so I was truly happy with it 🌿

Wine and snacks on board
Wine and snacks are included, too.

Having a glass of wine while looking out at the Han River from the boat—

I had no idea it could be this romantic 🍷

My husband and I toasted and looked at each other, then laughed because we felt like we had suddenly become incredibly rich 😂

A 4 PM boarding and the sunset-lit Han River
Before boarding, we had a quick safety briefing and put on life jackets, and then we were ready to go 🦺

Because we booked a slot near sunset, the sky gradually started turning golden,

and from then on, it was impossible to stop taking photos 📸

A Seoul Han River yacht-tour date can sound a little intimidating, but once I was there, it was more relaxed and restorative than I expected, so I was truly happy with it 🌿

As the yacht slowly headed out onto the Han River and Seoul’s cityscape receded, the view felt so different that I wondered whether this was really the Han River I knew 🌉

The forest of Yeouido buildings and the line of the 63 Building were beautiful, of course, and the bridges passed by one at a time on both sides—every single one looked like a painting~
If you love Seoul at night, this view alone feels worth it. The breeze was cool too, making it perfect for clearing your head on stuffy weather days like these ✨

It is the sort of experience I would never normally try, but having done it, it became a moment I truly cannot forget.

Han River photos taken from the water
We boarded at 4 PM, and that time slot was honestly such a brilliant choice.
The intense midday sunlight had eased off, and the breeze blowing across the Han River made it feel like a completely different world 🌊
It had been so hot on land, but once we got out on the water, the cool breeze made me think, wow, this really is another world 😮
The luxurious atmosphere was on a totally different level from a regular sightseeing cruise, and both my husband and I had our eyes wide open 👀
We took so, so many photos 📸 With the Han River as the backdrop, you get angles you simply cannot get anywhere else.

Looking at the Han River from the yacht, you know that strange feeling of wondering whether you are really in Seoul right now? 🥹

Because the photos were taken on the water, the background opened up wide and the light was so pretty that amazing shots just came out without a filter ✨

You can eat and sleep on the yacht, so there was even a bedroom inside~

Why I want to ride again for an anniversary date
I really, really recommend it for a Han River yacht-tour date. If you are looking for a different kind of date course instead of the usual Han River picnic, I strongly recommend Sailing Paradise 💑

I went with my husband, and the atmosphere was so lovely that we said we wanted to come back for an anniversary or birthday 🥂
A nighttime Seoul Han River yacht tour seems like it would have a completely different charm, so next time I am going to book an evening slot 🌙 It was this lovely even in the daytime, so I am already excited to imagine how much more romantic it would be with the night view 😍
If you have never tried an experience like this, please just try it once. You absolutely will not regret it ⛵
