Our brunch and pasta order

Brunch and pasta menu
Menu showing the ordered items

There were quite a lot of choices, from brunch and French toast to pasta and salads. The menu was so long that I only photographed the items we ordered.

That day, we ordered the “Hearty American-Style Brunch” with one extra piece of French toast, along with the “Mont Blanc Pollock-Roe Mayo Pasta.” For drinks, we chose freshly squeezed orange juice and apple-kale juice.

The apple-kale juice was my favorite drink

Freshly squeezed orange juice and apple-kale juice

Both the freshly squeezed orange juice and apple-kale juice had little bits to chew, as though the fruits and vegetables had been blended whole. Of the two, the apple-kale juice suited my taste more. I worried that the kale would have a strong grassy flavor, but I could barely taste that at all. The apple gave it a gentle sweetness, too, so it was easy to drink. I think I would order the apple-kale juice again next time.

An American-style brunch with a little of everything

A plate of hearty American-style brunch

Just as its name suggests, the plate came loaded with all kinds of food. It included pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and salad, so you could try everything at once.

We also added one piece of French toast. I drizzled syrup over the toast and had bites of bacon or sausage in between, which made it fun to pick at a bit of everything.

French toast and plump sausages

The sausages in particular were nice and plump, so even one was quite filling.

Mont Blanc pollock-roe mayo pasta with Danish dipped in cream sauce

Pollock-roe mayo pasta served in a Mont Blanc Danish

My favorite thing that day was the Mont Blanc pollock-roe mayo pasta. It was a unique dish, with pasta tucked inside a round Mont Blanc Danish pastry. Large pieces of garlic sat on top, and cream sauce was served on the side.

I tried the pasta first, then tore off a piece of the Mont Blanc. Its outside was crisp, so it was good on its own. But when I dipped it in the cream sauce, the sauce soaked deliciously into the crisp bread, and I kept tearing off the remaining pastry to dip it, haha. If you order this, definitely try dipping the bread in the sauce.

Check reservations before a weekend visit

The American-style brunch was great for two people to share because it let us eat several things at once, and adding the pasta left us very full. I especially liked the Mont Blanc pollock-roe mayo pasta and apple-kale juice.

And if you are visiting on a weekend, I recommend making a reservation beforehand. We had a 10:30 reservation and went straight in, but people who arrived afterward without reservations were told they could dine from 1 p.m. Weekend availability may make it difficult to get seated right away, so checking ahead will be more comfortable. If you are looking for a good place to eat around Mia Sageori or somewhere for brunch, it could be worth a visit :)
