Daegu study café with cheesecake in Chilgok 3-jigu: Pascucci

Today I'm sharing my time at Pascucci Daegu Chilgok3jigu-jeom, where I 'commuted' to a pretty café with my laptop in hand.

On this day, rather than working from home, I thought I'd change up the mood at a café and try to focus for a while, so I brought my laptop out. I figured I could sort out my to-do list over a cup of coffee, and treat myself to something sweet in between to freshen up my mood.

Pascucci Daegu Chilgok3jigu-jeom is located at 128-17 Dongcheon-ro, 1st floor, Buk-gu, Daegu, in Chilgok 3-jigu, an area with a lot of shops. From outside, the store has large glass windows, so the inside looked bright and open. It seemed like a convenient spot to stop by for coffee after a meal or errands~

Walking in, the interior was more spacious than I expected.

Tables and chairs were arranged in various configurations, so it looked fine for using alone, and also seemed comfortable enough for groups to chat together.

What I especially liked was the atmosphere toward the back of the store.

One wall had a bright pattern mixing flowers and fruit, so it wasn't plain at all, and sunlight naturally streamed in near the windows, giving the whole space a bright feel.

Is Pascucci Daegu Chilgok3jigu-jeom good for laptop work?

Pascucci Daegu Chilgok3jigu-jeom was quiet, so it was perfect for opening my laptop and focusing for a while. Settling in and sorting out my to-do list for a bit worked out well. I hadn't planned to stay too long at the café, but as I puttered along sipping my coffee, time went by faster than I expected.

What I ordered and what it cost

First, the Americano was clean and easy to drink.

I tend to go for coffee rather than sweet drinks, so this was a safe pick, and paired with dessert, the coffee's bitterness balanced out the sweetness nicely.

New Souffle Cheesecake, 6,300 won

The New Souffle Cheesecake was, true to its name, a soft, fluffy cake.

Eating it little by little with the coffee kept it from feeling too heavy, and let me slowly enjoy the cheesecake's savory-sweet flavor.

Cassata Tiramisu, 6,900 won

I also ordered the Cassata Tiramisu.

Soft tiramisu paired with coffee never fails, does it. The moment it hit my mouth, the smooth cocoa flavor just melted away.

It was great to pick this on a day I was craving something sweet, and switching between the two desserts let me enjoy their different flavors.

What else is in the dessert showcase

The showcase had a variety of cakes and desserts on display, and there were several types of ice cream too.

There was quite a variety, so next time I visit I'd like to try something I didn't have today.

Working on my laptop with coffee, and snacking on dessert in between, made me feel like I spent my time more leisurely than if I'd just grabbed a coffee and left. There were also lots of pretty mugs in different styles, so I ended up browsing those for quite a while haha.
