The moment you step off the elevator, instead of the heavy, intimidating feel a lot of barbershops have, you're greeted by a trendy, modern monotone interior. Especially by the window, a huge picture window opens onto a lush green view, so there's zero stuffiness while you wait.

While the perm solution processed, they brought over a drink too, so I could relax with a sweet iced tea.
After about 15 to 20 minutes, with the perm solution cleanly coating the hair, we moved to the shampoo room to rinse it out. They washed his hair thoroughly, and the firm-but-comfortable pressure-point massage melted away fatigue and tension he'd built up.
After drying it by tousling with a blow dryer, they used several clippers to refine the lines once more with precision. A small amount of styling wax to define the texture, and it was done.
They also explained how to style it at home, so it's easy to recreate. Easy to maintain too!
