Family dinner with drum-can seats at a Busanjin pork BBQ: Dwitdon

In short

Dwitdon Sanghoe, Jeonpo Branch is a pork specialty-cut BBQ restaurant near Jeonpo and Seomyeon in Busanjin, Busan. Visiting on a weekday evening at 5pm with her mother for a family dinner, the writer ordered the half-portion Dwitdon set (500g) plus doenjang stew and steamed egg for ₩49,000 total, and the drum-can seats by the folding doors gave off an outdoor-tent feel. Good value, generous set portions, and friendly service made it a solid pick for both family meals and group gatherings.

Today I'm writing about my mom's go-to pork BBQ spot near Jeonpo. There's a fun variety of specialty cuts to pick from, and the meat was so chewy and delicious. Hope this helps if you're looking for a good pork BBQ place in Jeonpo — let's get into it! This is Dwitdon Sanghoe, Jeonpo Branch.

Weekday 5pm visit, no wait, and the atmosphere

Weekday evening, 5pm, and we walked right in with no wait. I came here with my mom for a long-overdue family dinner near our neighborhood, and since we arrived right at opening, we got to eat at a relaxed pace haha.

The folding doors were wide open, so I could feel the openness even before stepping in. That outdoor-tent (yajang) vibe matters a surprising amount when you're setting up plans near Seomyeon.

The seats with drum-can tables and round grills were right by the folding doors, so it really did feel like an outdoor tent. The window seats had floor-to-ceiling glass, so it was nice to watch the street while eating 🥰

And they were running a soju/beer promotion at ₩3,900!

I liked that the aprons came in both disposable and reusable options!

What we ordered and the total bill

I ordered the Dwitdon half-portion set (domestic Korean pork), doenjang stew, 2 bowls of rice, 1 steamed egg, and 1 zero-sugar cola, which came to ₩49,000 total.

There were several set menus, so it wasn't hard to choose. The Dwitdon full-portion set was ₩65,000, and the half-portion set we ate was ₩34,000. Even at 500g, it was more than enough for two of us — great value for two women eating together. Cuts like du-hangjeong (pork jowl), scallop-shaped muscle, and konnhtdeungsal (snout meat) were on the menu, and a lot of the cuts were ones I'd never seen before.

Side dishes and the complimentary tofu kimchi

Lettuce wraps, scallion shreds, pickled onion, pickled peppers, anchovy sauce, gat kimchi (mustard leaf kimchi), ssamjang, garlic, sauce, salt, curry powder — with so many side dishes, we never got tired of eating even by the end.

Complimentary tofu kimchi

Tofu and kimchi came out as a complimentary side, and the kimchi was genuinely tasty!! I usually don't like tofu kimchi, but this one I actually enjoyed.

Grilling the du-hangjeong, scallop-shaped cut, and back-of-head meat

The meat arrived. Du-hangjeong, the scallop-shaped cut, and the back-of-head meat — doesn't it look great?? Each cut had a name tag, so we never got confused about what we were eating.

Once grilled, none of the cuts were tough, and the overall menu lineup felt really substantial.

Complimentary bibim-myeon noodles

We even got complimentary bibim-myeon (spicy mixed noodles), and piling a little on top of the meat was the perfect way to cut through any richness.

Doenjang stew with beef brisket

Beef-brisket doenjang stew and steamed egg

The doenjang stew with brisket in it was so good I have to recommend it hahaha. It was ₩5,000, and they gave us individual small bowls to portion it out with.

We also ordered the steamed egg, which wasn't overpowering — a mild, easy-to-eat side.

The self-serve bar was also easy to use.

Group-friendly seating, parking, and payment

The seating layout, with drum-can tables lined up in a row, made it easy to seat groups of 4 or 6 comfortably. The dining room was wide open, so it never felt cramped. The staff were friendly every time they came by, and we had a relaxed meal.

I also used the restroom — it was separated by gender and clean. The atmosphere was relaxed enough to linger after eating without feeling rushed, so it was easy to keep chatting.

You can pay by card or Naver Pay too. And they said they provide 1 hour free parking at a nearby lot!!

Final thoughts

  • A solid, worry-free spot for a family meal thanks to the generous set composition
  • A comfortable choice for company dinners or group gatherings, thanks to the spacious seating
  • Great for a date or a friends' hangout if you want that outdoor-tent vibe with a shot of soju

Good value, solid portions, and friendly service — all three line up here, so if you're looking for a pork BBQ spot in Jeonpo, this one's worth a visit haha. I only feature places I've been to at least twice on this blog.
