Fixing the M-shaped asymmetry and lowering the hairline just 2-3mm

Normally my baby hairs covered it, but when I pushed my hair back, the M-shape asymmetry on both sides showed. After the consultation, we decided not to drastically lower the hairline but instead balance the asymmetry and naturally fill in about 2-3mm.

Inside there were 2 treatment beds and a consultation table, and everything was neatly organized overall.

SMP vs gradation vs hair strokes: why hair strokes won this time

During the consultation I mentioned my previous SMP result was disappointing and that I didn't want the front border to stand out. They matched my hair color, thickness, and growth direction, drawing each strand individually with the embo hair stroke technique, and since my M-shape wasn't severe, they didn't densely fill the inner area. The scalp's center and front hairline look different, so it was important to pick the right technique for each area. If you have scalp wounds or inflammation, skin conditions, allergy history, medications, or are pregnant/breastfeeding, it's best to mention it before booking.

They marked the first guideline with a red pen and applied a numbing agent for about 20 minutes. Then I checked the second design, where each strand of hair was drawn — at first I was a little worried it might look unnatural.

The finished hairline looked like my own baby hair

I barely felt any pain, so I actually dozed off partway through, haha. The finished look wasn't like a dark, dotted scalp at all — it looked so natural, like thin baby hairs connecting between my existing hair, that I was genuinely surprised. I was like, 'Wait, was this always my own baby hair?' Since I'd had a bad experience before, the difference in results felt even bigger.

Even up close, the lines weren't thick or overly dark, and I loved the strand density matched to my hair color.

When I let my hair down, it connected naturally with my existing baby hairs, and the border of the treated area was barely visible.

Hairline tattoo aftercare: scabbing, shampooing and retouch

• Shampooing possible after 24 hours; 3-5 days recommended if possible

• Scabbing sheds within 7 days — don't pick at it
• Avoid saunas and jjimjilbangs for 7 days
• Avoid dyeing/perming for at least 2 weeks, ideally wait 3 weeks
• Retouch recommended 4-8 weeks after treatment
