Solo dining at a Seocho burger restaurant: chicken strips at Daily Fix

Daily Fix Seocho Gyodae Branch is a burger restaurant in Seocho, Seoul, a 5–8 minute walk from Exit 9 of Gyodae Station. Dining alone, the writer built a one-person set out of a bacon cheeseburger, chicken strips and a milkshake: the chicken strips had a KFC-like drumstick-meat texture under spicy seasoning, and the burger tasted balanced despite its many ingredients. With solo tables and a self-serve bar for pickles and water, Daily Fix is an easy stop for a meal or a beer on your own.

Choi Dining Yangju Okjeong is a Japanese and pasta restaurant on the 2nd floor of Bujaro Tower in Okjeong, Yangju, Gyeonggi. A family of three ordered salmon futomaki (thick sushi roll) at 13,900 won, unagi katsudon at 17,500 won and pork jowl wild garlic oil pasta at 14,000 won, sharing everything for 45,400 won, and the pork jowl oil pasta was the best dish of the meal. Each futomaki slice is too big to eat in one bite, so Choi Dining works well as an Okjeong lunch spot for sharing.
