In short

Low Five Sinpung is an Italian restaurant in Haenggung-dong, Suwon, Gyeonggi. I shared corn pizza, truffle cream pasta, and kimchi fried rice without avocado with my daughter for ₩57,000 for three. Verdict: The spicy, savory fried rice balanced the sweet, nutty dishes beautifully.

Back at Low Five Sinpung in Haenggung-dong with my daughter

Visit date: Monday, September 6, 2026, 6:30 p.m. I visited Low Five's main branch with my daughters in August, and since Haenggung-dong is nearby, I had another chance to come back. So, it had been a while, and we came for pizza. ^^

I recently took a little outing to Haenggung-dong in Suwon with my daughter. Haenggung-dong has lots to see down every alley, along with plenty of pretty cafés and restaurants, so it is a nice place to get some fresh air with her now and then. We wondered where to have dinner that day, and my daughter said she knew a place with great pizza, so we visited Low Five Sinpung.

There is a separate main branch, but it became so popular that a second branch opened too. There are two Low Five locations in Haenggung-dong alone. ^^

As you would expect from such a popular restaurant, the waiting information, opening and break times, and menu were all neatly laid out.

A comfortable dining space that suits Haenggung-dong

Low Five Sinpung already felt like a great match for the mood of Haenggung-dong from the outside. Inside, the overall atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and I also liked that the large windows let us see outside, so it did not feel closed in.

Restaurants popular with younger people can sometimes be too noisy or have cramped seating, but this one was more comfortable than I expected, so it was nice to visit with my daughter. It was a good place for the two of us to sit facing each other, talk, and enjoy a leisurely meal. The photos came out beautifully too, so I thought my daughter would like it. ^^ There were lots of couples as well, and it is known as a good Italian restaurant for a date.

Ordering corn pizza, truffle cream pasta, and kimchi fried rice

Here are the menu items. ^^ The three of us ordered corn pizza, truffle cream pasta, and kimchi fried rice without avocado. The total was ₩57,000, which felt very reasonable for three people.

Three ordered dishes on the table

Here is the whole spread. After a short wait, the dishes came out like this. Haha.

The sweet and savory signature corn pizza

The dish I was most looking forward to was Low Five's signature corn pizza. It was generously topped with corn and looked delicious from the start, but after one bite, it was clearly different from an ordinary pizza. The corn popped as I chewed, bringing a subtle sweetness, while the creamy, nutty sauce came together with it. At first I thought, “Corn goes this well on pizza?”

It also had bacon and shrimp, so it was not just strongly sweet from the corn; there was a savory, salty richness too. The crust was pleasantly chewy, and we enjoyed it right down to the edges. I could see why so many reviews say the corn pizza is a must-try.

My daughter liked the corn pizza best out of the three dishes that day too. At first, I wondered if it might be a little too sweet, but it was not overwhelming at all. It had a sweet-and-savory flavor unlike the other pizzas I usually eat. ^^

Truffle cream pasta

Next was the truffle cream pasta. I ordered it because I like cream pasta, and the roasted mushrooms and truffle aroma gave it a nutty flavor different from the pizza. The cream sauce coated the noodles well, making it rich yet smooth to eat, and the flavor seemed even fuller when I had bites with mushrooms.

It would be an especially appealing dish for anyone who loves truffle aroma. While the corn pizza was sweet and savory, the truffle cream pasta was richer and nuttier, so it was fun alternating between the two.

Pizza and pasta combination

Kimchi fried rice without avocado cut through the richness

And the dish we surprisingly kept reaching for was the kimchi fried rice. The original menu also has kimchi fried rice topped with avocado, but we ordered ours without avocado that day. Ordering kimchi fried rice at an Italian restaurant we had come to for pizza and pasta felt a little unusual at first, but once I tried it, I understood why so many people order it alongside the other dishes.

It was topped with soft scrambled eggs, which went wonderfully with the spicy, savory fried rice. After continuing to eat pizza and cream pasta, your mouth can naturally start to feel a little rich, but one spoonful of kimchi fried rice brought my appetite right back.

My daughter and I both said, “We would have been a little disappointed if we had not ordered the kimchi fried rice,” and we enjoyed it very much. I think there is a reason so many reviews praise the combination of corn pizza and kimchi fried rice.

A dinner where the three dishes worked well in rotation

After trying all three together, I personally thought the combination was great. With sweet, nutty corn pizza, rich truffle cream pasta, and spicy, savory kimchi fried rice, the flavors did not lean too far in one direction, so it was nice to alternate between everything.

These days, when I eat out with my daughter, I find myself looking for somewhere with not only good food but also a pleasant atmosphere where we can sit and talk comfortably. Low Five Sinpung was satisfying in that respect too.

It is especially popular for dates in Haenggung-dong or meals with friends, but it was also a nice restaurant for a mother and daughter like us to visit together. I enjoyed getting to try these youthful, trendy dishes with my daughter, and most of all, it was an even happier time because we could eat something delicious and chat about this and that. ^^ If my daughter and I come to Haenggung-dong again, I would like to try other pizzas or pastas we missed this time. Another delicious meal today.
