My boyfriend and I visited our favorite sushi spot in Songdo, Sushi Doku The Songdo, a fresh, high-quality restaurant in Incheon’s Songdo💕 Every ingredient is used and sold out on the day, and the premium ingredients are aged with authentic Japanese techniques for 100% live sushi❕ The atmosphere is great not only for a Songdo date course but also for visits with family and friends, so sushi lovers, let’s go to Sushi Doku🤍
Sushi Doku The Songdo

A Songdo sushi restaurant to visit after shopping at Onesta Mall
Sushi Doku The Songdo is on the second floor of Songdo’s Onesta Mall. Songhyeona (Songdo Hyundai Premium Outlet), Triple Street, and Onesta Mall are connected, so it is perfect after shopping. ✔️Parking: the restaurant provides a two-hour free parking voucher for Onesta Mall. After your meal, they register two free hours at the mall’s underground parking lot; after that it is ₩500 per 10 minutes, up to ₩20,000, so keep that in mind.

Sushi Doku The Songdo is one of those popular Songdo spots with a wait, and it was nearly full as soon as it opened—I felt its local-foodie status all over again. That is the level of my repeat-visit place, hehe. There is Catchtable at the entrance, so register as soon as you arrive. 📍For groups of six or more, you can reserve in advance through Naver. I recommend it for group or family gatherings of six or more. Reservations are available for 6 to 12 people 🆗

Seating atmosphere for dates and gatherings
Inside, the wood-toned décor is clean and cozy. White fabric dividers at each table make it feel private and create a lovely Songdo date atmosphere.

Soft lighting adds to the warm, calm mood. Want a sushi date in Songdo? Sushi Doku. Want sushi and conversation with friends? Sushi Doku. Want a family sushi meal? Sushi Doku. Finding a great Songdo sushi spot is very simple, right? ₍՞ • 🐽 • ՞₎

It is Incheon Songdo’s number-one sushi for me because it is 100% live sushi, prepared right in front of you. I kept hearing Baemin delivery alerts, and they say delivery is just as fresh as eating at the restaurant!
Ordering two Premium Sushi Special Sets
Premium Sushi Special Set, 10 pieces, for 2 people (₩25,900 × 2 = ₩51,800) Cola (₩2,000)

Ta-da—the best menu at Sushi Doku The Songdo comes with fresh sushi, truffle chawanmushi (Japanese steamed egg custard), mini udon, tempura, and salad! We ordered the Premium Sushi Special Sets and cola.

Ahh! Hearts came out of my eyes from the visuals alone. Maximum happiness🩶 Here comes the 10-piece Premium Sushi Special Set!

Salad and truffle chawanmushi
First, the salad was perfect for whetting our appetites before sushi. My boyfriend and I have been watching our blood sugar lately, so we went straight for the salad—yum! The fresh vegetables and nutty sesame dressing worked so well. The truffle chawanmushi moves me every time I have it. Truffle oil added to the silky custard creates a subtle aroma that fills your mouth with flavor. There are shrimp and ginkgo nuts inside too. Great protein boost!

Warm, refillable mini udon
The refillable mini udon welcomed us again with its Nemo fish cake. I am a broth person, so the soup matters to me: this warm broth was excellent, and the fried tofu and chrysanthemum greens made it such a tasty udon.

The noodles were chewy too, making this perfect udon🍜 📍The mini udon is refillable, so ask for another serving if you need one.

Shrimp tempura and karaage tempura
The crispy tempura included fried shrimp and karaage (Japanese fried chicken). The special set was truly generous with jumbo shrimp and karaage too. There is a reason it is the best menu.

The warm karaage and shrimp were crisp outside and moist inside, and they tasted wonderful with tartar sauce. I wanted to order them as standalone dishes. Before the sushi, my boyfriend and I clinked glasses with refreshing cola🤍

Premium sushi brushed with soy sauce
Now for the highlight of Sushi Doku The Songdo’s Premium Sushi Special Set: the sushi. A staff member kindly explained how to enjoy it and recommended eating in the order of white fish, salmon, then tuna. From white to red~~
- The 10-piece sushi selection is snow crab meat, eel, red shrimp, red sea bream, ika (squid), salmon, flounder, sweet shrimp, akami (lean tuna), and ankimo (monkfish liver).
- Pour soy sauce into the dish and sweep the dedicated brush through it.
- Then brush the soy sauce onto the sushi.
Rather than dipping the sushi into soy sauce, this really let the sushi’s natural flavor shine through, and it tasted so fresh.

Especially the snow crab meat, which I love, was on another level. I was amazed by the size alone—it seemed more than three times the rice. I gave my boyfriend a big thumbs-up.

The eel my boyfriend loves was another must-have tasty bite, filling the mouth with its nutty, sweet flavor.

The salmon was so good that calling Sushi Doku a salmon hotspot would not be an exaggeration. Its size and freshness brought a wave of happiness🧡 The huge, delicious salmon tasted full of umami and chewiness even with only wasabi on top.

✔️Receipt review event: otoro sushi included. Otoro sushi, which tuna lovers cannot help but enjoy, melted softly in my mouth and had just the right amount of richness—it was absolutely next-level. Be sure to try it.

Sushi Doku is one of our repeat-visit places that I have been to many times with my boyfriend. This time, I discovered that they have warm maesil-cha (Korean plum tea). After the generously composed Premium Sushi Special Set and a cup of warm plum tea, it was an even more satisfying meal! If you are looking for a great place to eat in Incheon Songdo or Songdo sushi, Sushi Doku🤍 At Sushi Doku The Songdo, where you can enjoy 100% live sushi in Songdo, couples on dates, families dining out, and friends can all enjoy high-quality sushi with great value. Saving it as a place to return to❣️
