Jamsil sandwich shop Earl Grey set with extra rocket: Town Sandwich
In short
Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is a baguette sandwich shop on the ground floor, a 10-minute walk from Exit 9 of Jamsil Station in Songpa, Seoul. Dining solo, the writer ordered the all-in-one set — a basil jambon-beurre cut in half with extra rocket and tomato, Earl Grey classic tea and cream soup — and the cross-section was bigger than a fist, the bread stayed crisp and the soup was still steaming at the last spoonful. Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is worth a stop for a simple, healthy solo meal or a short lunch break in Jamsil.

When you want a simple meal out, nothing beats a sandwich! It's one of my favorite foods — a healthy option that covers all your macros, with tons of flavor variety — so today I headed to a sandwich spot near Jamsil Station.

Where is Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch, and what are the hours?
Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is at 103, 10 Olympic-ro 35ga-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, a 10-minute walk from Exit 9 of Jamsil Station. It's open daily 09:00–20:00, and since it's not far from the station and on the first floor, it's easy to find.

I checked the menu online before visiting and was surprised by how many options there were — 10 different sandwiches — so I went in excited to see what I'd pick. The americano is a nice price too, at ₩2,900.

Solo-friendly seats and the open kitchen at Town Sandwich
Inside Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch there are plenty of wall-facing seats as well as face-to-face tables. I went for a simple solo meal, and I can really recommend it for solo dining. It's also a great pick if you're looking for a simple, healthy meal during a short work lunch break!!

One nice thing about Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch is that you can see the kitchen from where you order or eat. Freshness matters even more for sandwiches, so having part of the kitchen open made me trust the food more.

There's also hot sauce set out, so you can add some to your sandwich if it's your thing. Such a nice touch!

The Aguzak sandwich series and what comes in each set
Now let's look at the menu. The Aguzak (아그작, crunchy) series caught my eye! Looks like there are sugarcane granules at the bottom. If you want a touch of sweetness added to your americano or latte, I'd recommend one of the Aguzak drinks.

The single sandwiches alone are quite varied, but the set combos were great too. You can get sandwich + drink, or sandwich + drink + soup, at a discounted price.
The best-sellers are the Town Sandwich and the basil sandwich. I was curious about the new apple jambon-beurre, and honestly every item without a 'best' sticker looked delicious too, but after a long internal debate, I went with the basil sandwich!! And now, finally, let me reveal what I ordered.
- 💗All-in-one set💗
- Basil jambon-beurre, cut in half
- Extra rocket
- Extra tomato
- Earl Grey classic tea
- Cream soup

Basil jambon-beurre all-in-one set with extra rocket and tomato
The all-in-one set — sandwich + drink + soup — comes ₩2,000 off the original price!! The latte can be switched to oat milk, and of course decaf is available too :) The visuals alone made my mouth water. The sandwich was generously packed with ingredients and honestly huge — I was surprised!!

I love vegetables so I added rocket and tomato, but it looked like there was plenty even without the extras.
The bread was so crisp! Of course it was, since it's made to order — the bread and every filling inside were fresh and high quality. No wilted vegetables, no chewy stale bread at all.

Basil butter is spread generously on both sides of the bread.

Just look at the cross-section of the bread — way bigger than my fist.
Cream soup first, then dipping the baguette
And this!!! The taste is insane. You can choose between cream soup and sweet pumpkin soup — I went with cream soup. Try a spoonful of the soup before you even taste the sandwich. So good!!!

You also get a few pieces of bread to eat with the soup, and the bread is really crisp! Dipping it in the soup is truly delicious.

The soup portion is pretty generous, and it was still steaming hot by the time I'd nearly finished the sandwich — a warm meal all the way through.

Desserts, the prize draw event and delivery at Town Sandwich Jamsil
Like Subway, they also sell desserts — the cookies and brownies are large, and the brownie in particular was so thick it was practically cake.

And there's a special event at Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch!! They're running a no-lose prize draw, so be sure to try it. 5th place wins a free topping!! Landing 1st place would be amazing.
While I was eating in the shop, a lot of delivery orders kept coming in too, so it seems like a great option for a simple delivery meal at home! Good baguette sandwich shops aren't easy to find, but Town Sandwich Jamsil Branch passes my test. If you're in Jamsil, treat yourself to a tasty, healthy meal at this sandwich shop!
