Ogeum Park bakery café for jambon-beurre and Twinings milk tea: Grid
In short
Grid Cafe is a bakery café on the main road near Ogeum Park in Ogeum-dong, Songpa, Seoul. The order was a jambon-beurre sandwich, an egg tart and a milk tea: butter spread under the ciabatta lifted the whole sandwich, and the Twinings black tea milk tea was barely sweet, so it paired cleanly with the ham. The egg tart, taken away and eaten as an evening dessert, kept its real vanilla aroma and is worth picking up on its own.

Ordering the jambon-beurre sandwich, egg tart and milk tea
What I ordered at Grid Cafe was the jambon-beurre sandwich, an egg tart, and a milk tea. It's a small café, but the atmosphere is warm and cozy.

What Grid Cafe feels like inside

The milk tea is made with Twinings black tea. The aroma is subtle and it's not too sweet, which makes it even better. It goes really well with the jambon-beurre sandwich. Genuinely delicious.
Grid Cafe's signature egg tart

A jambon-beurre sandwich on fresh, nutty ciabatta
I took one bite of the jambon-beurre sandwich at Grid Cafe and was genuinely surprised at how good it was. I checked what was inside — that white layer at the very bottom isn't cheese, it's butter. That butter really lifts the overall flavor of the sandwich. Skipping the cheese was actually a genius move!

The sandwich is genuinely delicious. Light, nutty, and healthy-tasting. I demolished it on the spot lol.
Is Grid Cafe's egg tart the best in Songpa?

I was too full to eat the egg tart there, so I took it home and had it as dessert that evening — and it was amazing ㅠㅠ The tart shell is studded with vanilla bean, so it has real vanilla aroma. The egg filling is so smooth and sweet that there's zero eggy smell. Definitely recommend trying Grid Cafe's egg tart at least once~~!!
