The weather was so lovely today, so we came over toward Cheongsapo. There was a Western restaurant I had been keeping an eye on, so I finally paid it a visit. This is Bueokgan Haeundae Branch. The first floor is Bueokgan's Chinese restaurant, while the second floor is the Western restaurant at the Haeundae branch.
Three differently themed dining rooms
Once you enter, the dining area is divided into three distinct themes.

The first is a wood-toned room, the second a green-toned room, and the third—where the most guests were seated—was a yellow-toned room. If you want to look toward the kitchen, the green-toned section would be a good choice. For groups or gatherings, I think the wood-toned section works well, and for a blind date or couples, the yellow-toned section would be lovely. It is by the windows, so the sunlight comes in beautifully there ^_^

Ordering the Couple Dish Set
We ordered the Bueokgan Couple Dish Set. We chose the pumpkin soup first, upgraded to the grilled mushroom salad (+₩4,000), upgraded to carbonara (+₩1,000), and upgraded to basil Margherita (+₩2,000). For drinks, we had grapefruit juice and orange juice.
The most impressive thing (because I am an oldie, haha)!!!! I pointed my camera at the Wi-Fi sign and it connected immediately—so nice ^_____________^ Our shop has it stuck on the tables, but I want to change it to this!!

Pumpkin soup I keep thinking about
Once you order, the pumpkin soup arrives first. Ah... I am still thinking about it ㅠㅠ This really seemed like such a great appetizer. It was so delicious that I wanted to run into the kitchen and beg them to teach me how to make it. I love sweet things, and it was just sweet enough, warm, and had an amaaaazing consistency.

Grilled mushroom salad and carbonara
After the pumpkin soup, the dishes you ordered come out one by one. The grilled mushroom salad had sooo many mushrooms, with their distinctive flavor beautifully intact. They were grilled just right too—no burnt taste or anything—and it was excellent. The carbonara also had a really nice consistency. Even though I am a total tomato-pasta person, I kept reaching for this one.

What I looooved most about the carbonara was the thick bacon. These days, every restaurant seems to use sliced bacon, and honestly it can feel like it is only there to tick off the ingredients, but this place seemed to use proper thick-cut bacon (as far as I know, that is how you get a flavor true to the basics). Can you see the bacon?????

Basil Margherita and amenities
The basil Margherita also had that classic Margherita feel. It was baked so well, and the flavor filled my mouth beautifully. I did not get a photo of the Tabasco sauce, but they gave us jalapeño Tabasco too (that made an impression as well).
Having drinks after the rich food felt like an absolutely perfect pairing???? There is also a wine cellar on one side, so it would be nice to come for a glass of wine around year-end or in the evening. They also sell glasses of house wine on the menu. For those with little ones, high chairs and children's tableware are available, so you can come comfortably.^______^

Once again, I do not know quite how to put into words the inspiration this space gave me, but it was modern and neatly arranged, and it was fun being able to choose among the three concepts. Oh, and the staff were very kind. How should I put it—they seemed proud to work in this space? There was an ease in every tone and gesture, so we could enjoy a relaxed meal. Looking at it from a small-business owner's perspective, those details stood out to me.
Parking is available too, so I definitely recommend paying it a visit.
