Looking for a good soufflé café near Seoul Forest, I ended up revisiting 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch. Let me show you exactly why I keep coming back!
Business Info & Location
It's an 8-minute walk from Ttukseom Station Exit 8, and a 5-minute walk from Seoul Forest Station Exit 5 — easy to reach from either station.
What's the First Floor Like?
They use the whole first and second floor, so the space is more spacious than you'd expect.
I sat in this exact spot last time and watched the rain fall while enjoying dessert — that memory was so nice I came back.
With places like this, I think it's better to come back when you suddenly think of them, rather than visiting just once. Every time I come, the staff are kind too, so it's an easy place to hang out.
There were especially a lot of foreign visitors this time. 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is a soufflé spot that's gotten word-of-mouth even among international visitors.
Terrace Seats
There's a terrace space too. The terrace seats must be great on a nice day, haha!
Second Floor Interior — Good for Laptop Work and Dates
The second floor has a bit more tables set up with more room.
It looks good for 1-2 people, but also suitable for groups of 4 or more.
This review is from a Tuesday 2pm visit :) Outside meal times, it's nice and quiet to enjoy.
I'd recommend this as a good café for laptop work near Seoul Forest, Seongsu, and Ttukseom Station — it looks fine for getting work done too.
The table spacing is decent and the atmosphere is calm, so I'd also recommend it as a date or blind date spot near Seoul Forest, Seongsu, and Ttukseom Station :)

The coffee is clean and nutty with no unnecessary notes! Since the soufflé is on the sweeter side, it paired well with the coffee.
You know how there are days when this fluffy soufflé just hits the spot? I come back here on those days. The soufflé is so fluffy and soft, it looks delicious just by looking at it, and when you eat it, it's soft and sweet in a way that just makes you happy.
