Pho Witch is located in Pyeongchon-dong’s food district. You can park in front, but as you can see, there’s only room for about four cars, so I recommend taking public transit,,

There’s a huge “We’re Not a Couple” sign out front lol. Apparently, it’s a restaurant run by siblings 🙂

Since it’s run by young owners, the interior feels totally current ⭐️ The green-and-pink atmosphere was bright and lovely! The tables are all nice and spacious too, so it seems great for groups or get-togethers ~~

Further inside, there were solo-dining seats made for someone exactly like me 🥹 This is what it feels like when you sit down〰️ Doesn’t it kind of look like a poke place by a Hawaiian beach?

Pho is Pho Witch’s main dish, and alongside Vietnamese dishes such as bánh mì and spring rolls, they also sell Thai dishes like nasi goreng and pad thai! The nasi goreng looked seriously good, so I hesitated, but since it was my first visit, I ordered pho—the main dish haha.

There are also reasonably priced set menus for one to four people, so keep that in mind. I ordered the “Banh Mi Gone Crazy~” set, where you can have bánh mì and pho at the same time lol.

This is the ₩16,000 Banh Mi Gone Crazy set for one. They say the pho in the set comes in a smaller portion than the à la carte one ~~

I switched to spicy pho (+₩1,000). I usually go for regular pho, but for some reason I wanted something spicy today •• And it was such, such a good choice.

No, the broth is absolutely insane—in a good way. There are so many spicy phos that somehow taste like neither this nor that, but this had exactly that spicy chili flavor Koreans love(?) •• Seriously, seriously delicious 🤍🤍🤍

The noodles were slightly thick rice noodles! Since I added meat, I could pile meat onto every bite of noodles haha. And there was plenty of chili and bean sprouts too, you know?

I’m a cilantro-loving person, so I asked for cilantro too and ate it alongside. Cilantro is sooo good ❗️❗️❗️

How delicious is a bite of meat and cilantro together? Everyone, order the spicy one—seriously ⭐️

Now it was time to absolutely demolish the bánh mì. I’m a Vietnam addict and go there all the time, so I know: this recreates a local bánh mì 100%.

The charcoal-grilled pork, cucumber, pickled radish, and shredded carrot are the key points. What wouldn’t work in that crispy-crunchy bánh mì bread? 🌀

It’s even tastier dipped in chili sauce 〰️

I walked out patting my very full belly and saw they were holding a prize-draw event.

Of course I thought I’d get last place lol, but I got fourth haha—a mixed fried-food set ~~ Even aside from that, there were no total losing tickets, which was nice 💨

Now I can see why Pho Witch is such a word-of-mouth neighborhood favorite. They do Vietnamese and Thai food well, and especially, everyone needs to try the spicy pho •• Next time I’m taking on the nasi goreng haha. Recommended 🤍
