Seongsu burger restaurant revisited after 4 years: mushroom fritters

The burger place everyone who visits Seongsu recommends, four years running

I first came here maybe four years ago, and ever since, whenever I'm in Seongsu I stop by, and whenever anyone's heading to Seongsu I always recommend it !!! bd Burger, the place where everyone I've recommended it to has been satisfied — I finally paid it another visit after a long while

The 2nd floor interior — what are the seats like?

bd Burger Seongsu is on the 2nd floor. Climb the stairs up and, contrary to what you'd expect, a pretty spacious interior opens up

Clean, modern seating like this. It feels like there are more seats than when I visited about four years ago, and it's gotten cleaner too!!

Order at the kiosk — everything else is at the self bar

You order at the kiosk~~~! There's also a review event, so write one and grab a corn salad ✔️

At the self bar you can prep all sorts of things — various sauces, a drink dispenser, forks and knives, disposable gloves, a water dispenser, napkins, and wet wipes

Double cheeseburger set + wasabi shrimp set

Our order arrived !!! Double cheeseburger set + wasabi shrimp set (side changed to mushroom fritters, the zero-sugar cola came out ahead of time)

It's been about four years since I first came to bd Burger Seongsu, and back then I remember being shocked eating the mushroom fritters. So this time I made sure to pick them as my set side _ And honestly the visuals are exactly like the menu photo. bd Burger's visuals are always ♥️

They give you this stand (?) under the burger, so you can capture the burger's ferocious visuals in photos with so much style, eek🤤

Double cheeseburger

A double cheeseburger loaded with big grilled onions. Two thick patties packed in!!! It's really full of juice, filling enough that even a guy with a big appetite would call it hearty •••!

Wasabi shrimp burger

This is what I ordered !!! The wasabi shrimp burger I always get when I come to bd Burger. The wasabi mayo really goes well with the shrimp patty. Especially that wasabi mayo salad..? thing — a genius move. Goes so well with the shrimp patty

The shrimp patty is overwhelming just from its thickness!!!! One bite in and you can see those plump shrimp pieces 🤤 (light eaters might get full off half of this ..!) _ There's an even bigger patty available too …!! For +₩1,500 you can experience the big-size patty 🔥

The mushroom fritters are a must-have side

My beloved mushroom fritters _ A crispy outer coating with a hint of seasoning, and the combo with the sauce is really••• heavenly 🔥

Inside is full of juice (vegetable juice???is that a thing???)!!! The mushroom fritters are truly a must-pick !!! (There's also a sibling item, eggplant fritters, but I didn't get to switch one order to that, sob sob)

So much food, we packed the rest to go

The portions were so generous we boxed up the leftover burger and mushroom fritters 🤤 walked out stylishly with the packed box and a very full stomach
