LP bar in Sindang, Seoul with non-alcoholic highballs: CMS Soundbar
In short
CMS Soundbar is an LP and DJ-booth bar on the 2nd floor above Sindang Jeongi Tongdak, deep inside Sindang Central Market in Jung-gu, Seoul. Over a bowl of Froot Loops served as the house side dish, we drank Guinness, a non-alcoholic highball and an Irish Car Bomb in a dim, snug room made for talking over music. For a second-round bar with atmosphere near Sindang Station, CMS Soundbar is a good fit.

There are so many great-vibe bars popping up around Sindang these days. This time I went to CMS Soundbar, hidden inside Sindang Central Market.

How to find CMS Soundbar inside Sindang Central Market
CMS Soundbar is a bar on the 2nd floor tucked inside a market alley in Sindang. The first time I went, I thought, 'Is there really a bar here?' haha — but after walking deeper into the market alley looking for the sign, I finally spotted it!
The sign itself has this retro-but-hip vibe. It reads CMS SOUND BAR, CENTRAL MARKET SEOUL, which oddly matches the atmosphere of Sindang Central Market so well.
You just follow the stairs up. It felt less like heading to a regular bar and more like finding a hidden hideout haha — and honestly that's exactly what makes CMS Soundbar charming.

What the LP and DJ booth room at CMS Soundbar feels like
CMS Soundbar has a different vibe from your usual Sindang bar. True to its name, it's a sound bar — a space for enjoying LPs and music, so it's great for sipping a drink while listening to music.
Visitor reviews also confirm it's a good spot for enjoying DJ music with a nice atmosphere. So rather than a loud drinking-only spot, it felt more suited to nights when you want good music, a drink, and conversation.
The lighting is quite dim, which gives the whole place a really great atmosphere. Worth a visit for a date in Sindang or when you can't decide where to go for round two with friends!

Overall the dim lighting made it a great atmosphere for drinking while listening to music. One wall is packed with LPs, and there's a DJ booth and turntables too, so it really does feel like a music bar.
The space isn't big, but that makes it feel cozier, like a hidden hideout haha. It was surprising to find a place like this tucked inside Sindang Central Market, and I really liked the atmosphere. If you're looking for a Sindang Station bar or a Sindang LP bar, this would make a great second stop!
CMS Soundbar menu: highballs, draft beer, whiskey and cocktails

At CMS you can enjoy everything from easy-drinking options like highballs and beer to whiskey and cocktails. Signature picks include the CMS Highball, Kirin draft beer, and Suntory Highball, plus light bites like tuna canapé, potato salad, tomato cream cheese, and pineapple sherbet that pair well with drinks.
These are all menu items you can order without feeling weighed down, even if you're already full from a first round.

The house side dish at CMS Soundbar is Froot Loops
The basic side dish that came out was Froot Loops. I usually only eat them with milk as cereal, but eating them plain like this was surprisingly good — sweet and crunchy haha.

Guinness and a non-alcoholic highball at CMS Soundbar
My friend ordered a Guinness and I ordered a non-alcoholic highball.

The Guinness had that signature rich, heavy flavor balanced with a smooth foam, great for sipping slowly. My non-alcoholic highball was refreshing and sweet with a nice fizz, perfect for something light. As someone who can't really drink, I loved that this non-alcoholic option existed haha.

My first Irish Car Bomb
I also ordered an Irish Car Bomb haha. It was my first time trying one, and I was curious — the sweet, creamy flavor of Baileys combined with the bitter notes of Guinness worked better than I expected.
Sweet up front with a slightly bitter finish, it was almost like drinking dessert haha. Sipping this unusual cocktail while listening to music in a great atmosphere made it feel even more special!
