In short
Seomyeon Milmyeon is a milmyeon (cold wheat noodle) restaurant on the main road in the Eos Plaza building by Exit 8 of Seomyeon Station in Busanjin, Busan. On a weekday afternoon between wedding photo shoots, the writer ordered water milmyeon with extra noodles, bibim milmyeon and dumplings, and Seomyeon Milmyeon left out every slice of cucumber after being told in advance. With its rich warm broth, chewy noodles and 30 minutes of free parking, Seomyeon Milmyeon is an easy stop for a bowl of milmyeon in Seomyeon.

Where is Seomyeon Milmyeon in Busan?
Seomyeon Milmyeon is a milmyeon (cold wheat noodle) place at Eos Plaza, 25 Seojeon-ro, Busanjin-gu, Busan, and it's just a short walk out of Exit 8 of Seomyeon Station. It's on the main road rather than tucked in a small alley, so it should be easy to find~
I went down to Busan for a wedding photo shoot and stopped by Seomyeon to eat milmyeon — Busan's signature dish! The makeup artist who did my hair and makeup strongly recommended this place, so I went to check it out haha.
Seomyeon Milmyeon

- 📍 Hours: Daily 10:30–21:20 (last order 21:00)
- 📍 Parking: Eos Plaza parking lot (building parking for Seomyeon Milmyeon), 30 minutes free

Parking and wait time at Seomyeon Milmyeon
You can park at the Eos Plaza parking lot and get 30 minutes free. I came by car, and since the Eos Plaza lot has a parking tower, it was easy to park! After parking, get a parking ticket and have it stamped at Seomyeon Milmyeon for a discount, so make sure to get the stamp after your meal before you leave. I had plans after eating too, so I just parked comfortably and settled up later with the discount haha.

I heard the wait is usually really long, but maybe because I came on a weekday afternoon, it was thankfully quiet today haha!

Kiosk ordering and the milmyeon and dumpling menu
Once you walk into Seomyeon Milmyeon, you order right away at the kiosk, and it looks like a lot of people take food to go too~ If you want to pay in cash, just ask a staff member.

The menu is simple, just milmyeon and dumplings, and they even kindly wrote out how to eat it deliciously lol. I usually cut my noodles with scissors, but since the owner said not to cut them, I'll try eating it as is today!

Where to put luggage, and the self-service bar
Next to the self-service bar at Seomyeon Milmyeon there's a separate space to leave suitcases. Since a lot of travelers come to this neighborhood, they thoughtfully set this up so visitors don't have to worry about their luggage while eating~ It seems like a lot of foreign customers come too, since they wrote the sign in English as well haha. What a thoughtful owner!

You know how real milmyeon places usually don't give you a spoon, right? But for those who need one, they put spoons at the self-service bar, and there are even forks for kids to eat comfortably~

Inside Seomyeon Milmyeon: seating and restrooms
Seomyeon Milmyeon, a well-known spot near Seomyeon Station, was clean and well-kept inside, and it had quite a lot of seats, so it seems like a good place for a group of friends to visit together~

There were aprons hung up in a row nearby, and the restroom is inside the building! Make sure to grab tissue before you go, and once I used it, it was kept clean too~ And since the Eos parking lot gives 30 minutes free, you don't need to stress about your car in Seomyeon, where parking is such a nightmare!

Warm broth served in a kettle at Seomyeon Milmyeon
Seomyeon Milmyeon serves the warm broth in a kettle, so you can drink as much as you want. Honestly, the warm broth is the best part of any milmyeon place, right? One sip in and I could already tell this place was the real deal...❤️ Why can't Daegu milmyeon places make it taste like this? Busan really is the best for milmyeon!

They gave us a whole kettle so we could drink as much as we wanted, so I sipped on the warm broth little by little while waiting for the food~

Water milmyeon with extra noodles, bibim milmyeon and dumplings, cucumber left out
What we ordered at Seomyeon Milmyeon was water milmyeon with extra noodles, bibim milmyeon, and dumplings. Here it comes!!

Notice anything unusual? I actually can't eat cucumber, so I mentioned it in advance, and they thoughtfully left it out of everything hehe. The dumplings were also served hot on top of a steamer, so I could eat them warm all the way to the end haha.

Look at the color of that bibim sauce ㅠ_ㅠ It made my mouth water instantly,,,, I also added extra noodles to the water milmyeon and they really doubled the noodles, so I came out stuffed! It was on a whole different level from the milmyeon I've had in Daegu! Especially the broth — really rich, and the noodles were so chewy >_< Even though I'm currently on Mounjaro, I couldn't help but overeat because it tasted so good! Seomyeon Milmyeon is the perfect spot to cool off from the summer heat on a trip to Busan over 30 degrees 😍 I'll definitely come back on my next trip haha.
