Kiosk pre-order and warm broth wait at Seomyeon Milmyeon, Busan
In short
Seomyeon Milmyeon is a milmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle) restaurant on the 1st floor of Eos Plaza, about a 5–6 minute walk from Exit 8 of Seomyeon Station in Busan. Orders go through a kiosk before you're seated, and a warm, pepper-forward broth is served self-serve while you wait, which suited this blogger's taste perfectly. The noodle portion feels like 1.5 servings and the dumpling skin is wonderfully chewy, making it worth ordering alongside the milmyeon.

Trying to think of something refreshing to eat in summer, I went looking for a good milmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle) restaurant after a long while and found this Seomyeon spot. It's been featured on TV several times, so the taste is basically guaranteed — I went to Busan's "Seomyeon Milmyeon."

How far is it from Seomyeon Station?
It's a 5–6 minute walk from Exit 8 of Seomyeon Station. It's on the 1st floor, so I found it right away.
Interior and how to order

You order at the kiosk before entering, and then go in!!

Inside, it's set up almost entirely with 4-person tables.

It's not a huge space, so the tables are fairly close together, but since I went after the lunch rush, it didn't feel cramped at all — I ate comfortably.

While waiting for your order, note that small plates and spoons are available at the self-serve bar.
What I ordered and the prices
- Mul milmyeon (cold broth noodles): ₩10,000
- Milmyeon (bibim/spicy mixed): ₩10,000
- Dumplings: ₩7,500

While waiting for the food, having warm broth first to settle your stomach is just perfect! It's a rich, savory broth with a strong pepper aroma — totally my taste.

Everything came out together right after ordering, about 5–10 minutes later. I was excited since it had been a while since I had milmyeon — and the visuals were insane, right?
How's the mul milmyeon?

The broth with bits of floating ice makes you forget the heat. It has a slight herbal medicine note, giving the feel of drinking a really well-simmered, healthy broth. The shredded meat is generous in amount and easy to eat, and with the chewy noodles the portion feels like 1.5 servings. You can season it to taste with vinegar and mustard for extra flavor.
How's the bibim milmyeon?

Bibim milmyeon comes with a sweet-and-tangy sauce. The noodle portion is generous here too. There's a slight spiciness at the end that seems to round off the savory sauce nicely.

It was plenty tasty even without adding anything, but I'd recommend seasoning it with just a bit of mustard to your taste! Just like the mul milmyeon, it comes with shredded meat, which paired really well with the sauce, and the cucumber and pickled radish served alongside upgraded the refreshing taste even further.
Definitely order the dumplings too

These are meat dumplings, but the skin was incredibly chewy, almost like a potato dumpling.

There's a nice bite to it, and like xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), there's a bit of juice inside the filling that made it even tastier — honestly one of the best dumplings I've had recently.
Overall thoughts
- The noodle portion feels as generous as 1.5 servings
- If you're having milmyeon, definitely order the dumplings too
- If you're looking for a great milmyeon restaurant in Seomyeon, Busan, this is the place to recommend
