I visited Uijeongbu last week for an auction attempt! After finishing up my errands there, I grabbed lunch at a ramen spot I love in Uijeongbu, and then I was craving dessert~~~! And it just so happened that there's a wakppu salt bread shop in Uijeongbu that's super hot right now, so I went to check it out >.<
Where is Byway Bakers Cheongsa Main Branch in Uijeongbu?

Byway Bakers Cheongsa Main Branch is a 6-minute walk from Exit 1 of Gyeonggi-do Office North Branch Station on the Uijeongbu Light Rail! I drove and parked in the building's lot~! Parking at Gyeongnam Building costs ₩1,000 per 30 minutes, but they give you 1 hour free if you use the store.
There's no space to eat inside the store, it's takeout only! I could smell something sweet from outside, and turns out that was coming from here. The desserts filling up the whole store~~!

Dessert gift packages and cakes at Byway Bakers
Byway Bakers Cheongsa Main Branch sells financier 5-packs, 10-packs, and a salt bread 4-pack, and the discount rate is really good! Since they sell packages like this, it seems like a great option for Uijeongbu dessert gifts too!

They also sell cakes and cute candles, so I'd recommend it for event desserts or cakes too~~!
Drink prices: americano for 2,000 won

The drink prices are really reasonable, right? The most expensive is the cream latte at ₩5,000!! Americano is ₩2,000!! Packing up desserts and grabbing an americano to go makes the whole walk feel exciting~~~!
Tasting the wakppu salt bread with blueberry yogurt

This iced americano is totally my style, want to have it again,,,, if you like nutty coffee you'd really love this!

At Byway Bakers, the go-to Uijeongbu salt bread spot, I picked the wakppu salt bread and the Dubai chocolate salt bread, of course~! First up, the wakppu salt bread (fresh blueberry yogurt).
I'd never had wakppu before, and now I get why people do this...? Can you see my excited fingers? Hahaha I was genuinely so excited...

The packaging is so cute and the look of it is so cute too~~! It seems like it'd make a great gift.

Here's what the cross-section looks like! Fresh blueberries are studded all through the inside. I really don't like artificial fruit flavors, but here they use real blueberries and it was so delicious~! And the outer wakppu coating is white chocolate, with a yogurt whipped cream filling(?) inside, so it's really, really good~~!! I ate half on the day I bought it and the other half the next day, and it was definitely better fresh on the day! Everyone, eat it the same day you buy it >.<
What the Dubai chocolate salt bread tastes like

This place is seriously a top Uijeongbu dessert spot. I genuinely recommend it for Uijeongbu dessert takeout,,, because out of all the kadayif I've ever had, this one ranks at the top!!!! It makes me want to go back and buy the duzzonkoo 2+1 deal haha. That perfectly balanced mix of white chocolate ㅠㅠ I want to eat it again~~
That was my write-up on Byway Bakers Cheongsa Main Branch, which I recommend as a top Uijeongbu salt bread spot and Uijeongbu dessert café.
