This time I visited Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store near Simhaksan in Paju. The name alone makes you expect it to be full of fruit — and walking in, my eyes were immediately drawn to all the fresh fruit on display. Finding it by searching the address wasn't too difficult. And for those driving, there's parking available, which made the visit that much easier.

The inside of the café felt clean and well organized. The fruit-selling area flows naturally into the café space, giving it a slightly different atmosphere from a typical bingsu specialty shop. The window seats are nice too, letting you take in the view outside while relaxing.

These days, taste matters, but so does whether a place is good for photos, right? With its colorful fruit and pretty bingsu, Fruit Forest was also a great spot for food photos.

It's a nice place to come with friends, with family, or on a date sharing a sweet dessert with a partner.

The display case has a Basque cheesecake along with various other desserts, so it's worth browsing slowly once you're inside before picking your order. True to its name, Fruit Forest centers on fresh fruit menus, but it was nice that you could also enjoy mango bingsu, seasonal fruit bingsu, and cheesecake alongside them.

What I liked most was getting to enjoy sweet mango with soft snow bingsu and step away from everyday life for a bit. On a day when the weather is this pretty, the happiness a bowl of sweet bingsu gives you turns out to be bigger than you'd expect.
