Busan family dinner at a Beomil-dong beef restaurant: Hanuso Dwitgogi
In short
Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch is a beef restaurant in Beomil-dong, Dong-gu, Busan, serving hanwoo dwitgogi (Korean beef off-cuts) at 14,900 won per 100g. A regular of three years brought her mother along this time, and the four of them ordered 5 servings of hanwoo dwitgogi plus 2 extra, finishing with doenjang stew and kimchi mari guksu (cold kimchi noodles). With everything from lean cuts to nicely marbled ones on the plate, Hanuso Dwitgogi made for a satisfying family dinner.

Hanuso Dwitgogi, a Beomil-dong beef restaurant I've eaten at for three years
Today I want to recommend a Beomil-dong beef restaurant I've been visiting for three years, Hanuso Dwitgogi. It's not a one-time "that was decent" place — it's somewhere I keep coming back to whenever the craving hits, and this time I brought my mom along!
- 📍 Location: 9 Jobang-ro 49beon-gil, Dong-gu, Busan
- ⏰ Hours: Daily (16:00–23:00)
- 🅿️ Parking: No lot / use the public parking lot in front (not covered)
📌 Tip – Book through Naver and you get free yukhoe (beef tartare) when you visit! It's genuinely delicious, so I really recommend reserving ahead.

The biggest perk of Hanuso Dwitgogi is that you can enjoy good-quality hanwoo (Korean beef) at a relatively easy-on-the-wallet price.

What side dishes come with the meal at Hanuso Dwitgogi?
The basic side dishes at Hanuso Dwitgogi include beef seaweed soup, yeolmu kimchi (young radish kimchi), pickled onions, spicy radish salad, perilla leaf pickles, and dressed lettuce. Side dishes matter almost as much as the meat, and the basics here are pretty satisfying too.

Every single side dish was tasty on its own, and they went great with the meat. I'd pile pickled onion onto a piece of beef, or eat it with the dressed lettuce for a whole different flavor — I kept reaching for more! The radish salad in particular had a really distinctive, delicious taste.
Hanwoo dwitgogi at 14,900 won per 100g, with cuts that change daily
Hanuso Dwitgogi sells hanwoo dwitgogi (beef back cuts) at ₩14,900 per 100g! True to the name "dwitgogi," the exact cut served can vary slightly day to day, but the savory, tender texture is great — I'd recommend it to anyone who likes both lean cuts and somewhat marbled ones.
(*Personally, if you love marbled cuts, I'd recommend the galbi dwitgogi or hanwoo salchisal instead.) There's something fun about not knowing exactly which cut you'll get that day. But one thing stays consistent no matter the cut — the quality and color of the meat! They're known for good meat quality, so you can visit with confidence.

Free yukhoe with a Naver reservation
The yukhoe (beef tartare) I got with my Naver reservation was excellent too. It's great for whetting your appetite before the beef, and honestly, for something that comes as a freebie, it tastes like something I'd happily pay for separately.

7 servings for 4 people: was it enough for a family dinner?
The meat we'd been waiting for arrived! For our table of four, we first ordered 5 servings. From the moment it hit the plate, the vivid color and freshness were obvious, and once grilled, the juiciness and savory flavor were great too — it's one of the reasons I've kept coming back for three years :)

This time I visited with my mom, and everything from mild, lean cuts to moderately marbled ones came out, which made it even more satisfying!

What's appealing here is the lean, not-greasy beef cuts! It tastes great with pickled onions and dressed lettuce, and just as good with the sesame oil and salt dip combo.

Two more servings of hanwoo dwitgogi! Since four of us came this time, we started with 5 servings and then added 2 more. Even after 7 servings total, there was still plenty of meat, and the four of us ate until we were stuffed. (5 servings alone would probably be plenty if you're just drinking.) Places that skimp on portions make you keep ordering more just to feel satisfied, but here the portions were generous, which I really appreciated.

Ending the meal with doenjang stew and kimchi mari guksu
Even after eating plenty of beef, you can't skip the meal menu, right? Doenjang stew loaded with seafood and various vegetables! A beef restaurant just isn't complete without doenjang stew, so we ordered that along with kimchi mari guksu (cold kimchi noodle soup) for a clean finish. After the meat, a spoonful of doenjang stew — that combination never fails . . !

The kimchi mari guksu was tangy and refreshing, perfectly cutting through the richness in my mouth — a great final course. After enjoying a full spread from meat to a proper meal, my mom was happy too, and I felt glad I'd chosen this Beomil-dong beef spot for our family dinner!
Hanuso Dwitgogi Beomil Branch is a place I've been visiting for three years now, so for me it's already a tried-and-tested go-to beef restaurant. The cut served may vary a little day to day, but the quality and flavor of the meat stay consistently good, which makes it a restaurant I trust even more. If you're looking for a spot for a family dinner or a meal with friends in Beomil-dong, I recommend Hanuso Dwitgogi — you can enjoy quality hanwoo generously without too much of a price burden.
