Bucheon jjukkumi meal kit for 4 cooked at a campsite: Yajju Yajju
In short
Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch is a jjukkumi (spicy webfoot octopus) restaurant near Chunui Station at 229-11 Bucheon-ro, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi. This time the order was the ONNl Hearty Single Jjukkumi (uncooked, serves 4) at spice level 1, taken to go and cooked at a campsite, where the octopus came out plump and the sauce led with savory depth before the heat. Wrapped in perilla leaf with pickled radish, mayonnaise, seaweed and flying fish roe, Yajju Yajju also works as a solid Sinjung-dong delivery lunch.

Chunui Station jjukkumi (spicy webfoot octopus) spot Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch — plump octopus and spicy sauce all in one!

I've been craving something spicy lately, so this time I tried jjukkumi. The place I ordered from was Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch! Located at 229-11 Bucheon-ro, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi — worth checking out if you're a jjukkumi fan.
This time instead of eating in store, I ordered the [ONNl Hearty Single Jjukkumi (uncooked, serves 4)] to take home and cook myself.

🐙 How plump is the jjukkumi at Yajju Yajju?
What I liked most about the uncooked jjukkumi for 4 at Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch was the size of the octopus. Instead of small, skimpy pieces, it came with plump, substantial jjukkumi that looked appetizing on its own.
No matter how tasty the sauce is, if the octopus itself is small or tough it's disappointing — but this one had proper bouncy texture. Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch says they stick with only top-grade octopus even as raw material prices rise, and eating it, I got why they care so much. With octopus this substantial, one bite is genuinely satisfying.

🌶️ How spicy is spice level 1?
I ordered the jjukkumi at spice level 1. I'm not great with really spicy food, so I worried at first it might be too much — but it turned out to be the sharp, delicious kind of spicy Koreans tend to love.
Not the kind of heat that numbs your mouth so you can't eat anything else — the savory flavor of the sauce hits first, with the spiciness following after.

So it went great with rice, and my chopsticks kept going back for more. Personally, level 1 was the most comfortable, delicious spice level. Perfect for anyone who's craving spicy but doesn't want something too intense.

If you eat in store, the vegetable wraps get refilled, so for anyone looking for jjukkumi near Chunui Station I'd recommend dining in!!

Why order the uncooked jjukkumi to go? Camping
The reason I got it to go today.. was exactly this

It was for camping!!! I've tried plenty of other meal kits, but nothing beats Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch ㅜㅜㅜ

I've lost count of how many times I've eaten Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch by now
🍚 Jjukkumi with rice makes a perfect lunch
Jjukkumi from Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch has to be eaten with rice. The spicy sauce pairs so well with rice that it also worked great as a lunch menu.
I especially liked that it's an uncooked menu you make yourself, so you can heat it up fresh at home right away. On days when eating out feels like a hassle, or when you just want a hearty meal at home, this kind of delivery menu is great. So I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a Sinjung-dong delivery lunch too. Order one spicy jjukkumi and just prep some rice to go with it — plenty for a group as well.

🥬 My favorite way to wrap jjukkumi
There's a combo I always make sure to eat when I have jjukkumi. Perilla leaf + radish kimchi (musaengchae) + mayonnaise + seaweed + flying fish roe! I can't resist this combo... haha
- Lay musaengchae on a perilla leaf
- Pile on plenty of jjukkumi
- A dab of mayonnaise
- Top with seaweed and flying fish roe, then eat in one bite
Eaten this way in one bite, you get spicy, savory, and tangy all at once. The mayonnaise especially softens the octopus's heat, making it much smoother to eat. Add the flying fish roe and you get a popping texture too — way tastier than just eating the jjukkumi alone. I highly recommend this combo 👍🏻
🐙 Looking for jjukkumi near Chunui Station, Bucheon?
Yajju Yajju Maekom Jjukkumi Main Branch particularly won me over with the size and texture of its octopus. Plump, substantial jjukkumi paired beautifully with the savory-spicy sauce, and level 1 was spicy enough to be satisfying without being overwhelming.
Most of all, wrapping it in my favorite combo of perilla leaf, musaengchae, mayonnaise, seaweed and flying fish roe kept me coming back for more 😋 If you're looking for jjukkumi near Chunui Station, this is worth a try.
And if you're after a menu you can enjoy comfortably at home, it's also a solid choice for a Sinjung-dong delivery lunch! On a day when you're craving something spicy, try plump jjukkumi with a bowl of rice. I have a feeling I'll be thinking about this taste again 🤍
