A Vietnamese restaurant specialist where the interior, kitchen, and hall staff all give off a strong authentic Vietnamese vibe. I've been to a few other branches, but I think the one in Jeongja-dong has the best atmosphere!

Kkamon Bundang Jeongja Direct Store is located on the 1st floor commercial space of The Sharp Star Park, between Doosan Bundang Tower and Naver HQ. Parking is free for 2 hours~ The resident parking lot and the commercial parking lot have different entrances, so if you're driving, be sure to check ahead!

They operate with no break time even on weekdays, so you can enjoy delicious Vietnamese food anytime. The hall was full of customers, but delivery orders kept coming in nonstop too.
The one-person set that comes with stir-fried morning glory
Oh my, there's now a set menu that comes with a small size of stir-fried morning glory (water spinach)! I really love morning glory, so this is great news!!
For the office worker set, I ordered the spicy brisket pho + morning glory set B, and since I was curious about the fall new menu, I also ordered the squid pho.
The basic side dishes were pickled onions, pickled radish, and pickled chili peppers. At pho places I always run out of pickled onions and have to ask for more, but here there's a self-serve bar so you can eat as much as you want without feeling awkward, yay
Spicy beef brisket pho + morning glory set B (15,000 won)
The spicy brisket pho + morning glory set B is ₩15,000. The boiled meat pho looked delicious too, and I really wanted to try the ox bone pho, but since I had to pick just one, this place makes you think a hundred times over — a real pho destination in Bundang. As the weather got cooler, I was craving something spicy so I picked the spicy pho.
Spicy pho is great for curing a hangover. It came with a deep broth simmered from beef shank and brisket, mixed with a fiery house-made spicy sauce.
Plenty of brisket, plus loads of onion and bean sprouts. If you need cilantro, bean sprouts, or spicy chili, just ask the staff and they'll bring it to you. They gave out cilantro so fresh it looked like it had just been picked from a field~
What does Kkamon's stir-fried morning glory taste like?
It's called 空心菜 ("empty heart vegetable") because the stem is hollow like bamboo. It looks similar to water dropwort, but the texture isn't tough — it's crisp and tender. Seasoned with fish sauce and oyster sauce and stir-fried with garlic, it's bursting with umami and total rice-thief material.
Autumn seasonal squid pho at Kkamon (13,000 won)
Kkamon's fall new menu squid pho is ₩13,000. It's loaded with squid rings, shrimp, fish cake, the trendy shio kombu, and a soft-boiled egg. The bowl itself is huge and packed with a variety of ingredients, so it draws a gasp the moment it arrives~
The squid pho doesn't come with bean sprouts by default, so I asked for extra, and they came out lightly blanched — what a nice touch!!! Nice, so nice. The broth base was already great, and the strong aroma of shrimp and squid made it really delicious.
If you find the seasoning a bit strong, using the bean sprouts, onion, and cilantro helps balance it out. I thought about ordering a bowl of rice to top with the morning glory, but the portions were so generous that I got completely full just from the pho alone.
As dusk began to fall, the atmosphere at this Bundang pho spot, Kkamon Jeongja Direct Store, became even more romantic. I ate really well and I'm heading out now~
