Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch is on the first floor of Farm's Tower in Chorongkkot-maeul, Unjeong, Paju. It's the building right next to Farm's Mart, so it's easy to find. A Dongpae-dong brunch spot in Chorongkkot-maeul! I visited 'Boulangerie Tan Unjeong Main Branch.'

Hours are 10:00–18:00, Sundays 10:00–15:00, closed every Monday.

When do the popular breads sell out?

Boulangerie Tan runs on a bake-day-sell-day principle. Bread comes out fresh every morning, but the popular ones sell out by mid-morning, so I'd recommend going early or booking ahead through Naver Reservation.

The counter you see right when you walk in. Since it's a takeout-only bakery, there's no space to sit and eat. My recommendation: grab the good stuff and eat it at home or out on a picnic!

Coffee and drinks are also sold here! There's a basic coffee menu, plus iced tea, matcha latte, and ade.

Not much bread left!!! We visited around 2pm. The popular items had only 1–2 pieces left, so we hurried to buy haha.

Overall the breads were European-style — wholesome yet upscale.

Torn between ricotta and carrot jambon... went with carrot!!! Haha. This line of menu items looked so delicious. I'd checked reviews before coming to the café, and there were so many raving reviews, so I was extra hyped haha.

This section was sold out T_T Only the cream ones were left... I told myself I need to come earlier next time, in the morning.

Salt bread: gone in 3 minutes in the car

Since Boulangerie Tan is a takeout-only spot, we walked out with 3 breads packed to go. They wrapped everything up nicely for us.

I originally meant to eat it at home... but I couldn't resist the smell of this salt bread ^^ so I pulled it out in the car. Lol T_T The most classic item, salt bread — crisp outside, soft and moist inside, the interior was completely tender.

Carrot rapée chicken sandwich, ₩8,300

This carrot rapée chicken sandwich had more carrot than I expected, and the tang of the white balsamic paired really well with the carrot.

The bread itself wasn't a plain flour taste but truly wholesome bread. The fillings were fresh, so it'd be great to eat while dieting or working out too. Above all, it was really filling.

The look of it... I want to go back to Boulangerie Tan and have this delicious sandwich with an iced americano again.

Top pick: jambon fromage, ₩9,900

My top pick is the jambon fromage! It's a rich jambon beurre sandwich with arugula, cheese, and whole grain mayo sauce added. Every ingredient was fresh and delicious... packed full of arugula, it's a truly wholesome sandwich!

Since Boulangerie Tan's bread itself comes out fresh and made with wholesome ingredients, every sandwich built on this base ends up tasting great.
