Paju café with Ethiopian filter coffee and welcome drink: Pound Coffee

I'm always chasing dopamine here, there, everywhere. Today I went to Pound Coffee in Unjeong with a friend.

Where is Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch, and what about parking and hours?

Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch is at 20 Wasukseokhwan-ro 192beon-gil, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, and is open daily from 11:00 to 21:00. There's parking in front of the store, and it's about a 3-minute walk from the bus stop.

We stopped by for coffee after lunch. There were about 4–5 parking spots visible in front of the store when I visited. It's also only about a 3-minute walk from the bus stop, so it wasn't a long trip by public transit either.

There's also a cozy outdoor seating area outside the store, giving off a different vibe from the indoor space.

Bright window seats at Pound Coffee in Paju

The interior of Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch was bright throughout thanks to a huge floor-to-ceiling window. There were plenty of 1–2 person tables, plus separate group seating for larger parties.

Stepping inside, the big window made the whole space feel bright, and the atmosphere was neatly kept.

There were plenty of seats good for 1–2 people, as well as group seating for larger groups.

Overall it was a wide, bright space, which made it a nice atmosphere to chat and drink coffee at ease with a friend haha.

At Pound Coffee, you can choose from coffee drinks like filter coffee and lattes, along with baked goods like financiers.

The prices for what we ordered were: Ethiopian hand-drip filter coffee ₩6,500 and café latte ₩5,000. The vanilla bean macadamia financier and cinnamon financier were ₩3,500 each.

The welcome drink that comes with every Pound Coffee order

Once we ordered, they brought out a fragrant, lemon-mint-tea-style welcome drink. It put me in a good mood from the moment I ordered haha. They also brought our order right to the table, and told us we could just leave the dishes when we were done and they'd clear them — very convenient.

This time we ordered the Ethiopian filter coffee, a café latte, and two kinds of financiers.

How the Ethiopian hand-drip filter coffee tastes

The Ethiopian hand-drip filter coffee at Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch had a delicate, fragrant aroma. It had a clean finish after drinking, so 'clean cup' really fit the description. It went down smoothly without any heavy lingering feeling, making it nice to sip slowly while enjoying the aroma ^^

Café latte and two kinds of financiers at Pound Coffee

The café latte had a nice balance of nutty coffee bean flavor blending with the milk. If you're a latte lover, this place is worth keeping in mind for a 'Unjeong best latte' search. We also tried the vanilla bean macadamia financier and the cinnamon financier together — and honestly, these baked goods were what impressed me most that day.

Rather than just drinking coffee, pairing it with a financier made for a great combo, and both kinds were delicious — I was glad we ordered dessert too.

We spent a relaxed time chatting with a friend in a clean space lit by bright windows, enjoying filter coffee, a latte, and financiers. If you live in Unjeong, this is a café well worth visiting on a nice day. It's one of those places I think of often, so I end up coming back myself ^^ Today too, I chased dopamine here and there, and came home sweetly recharged :)
