Jeju City dessert shop on Noyeon-ro for parents' gift sets: Today Jeju
In short
Today Jeju Shilla Duty Free Shop Jeju Branch is a Harubangne dol hareubang madeleine shop at 69 Noyeon-ro in Jeju City, Jeju, open daily from 10:00 to 19:00 with free parking. The writer had the 8-flavor Harubangne gift set wrapped as a present for their parents and bought single ang-butter and choco madeleines, priced in the 3,000–4,000 won range, to compare the two flavors. Picked instead of the usual Jeju chocolate souvenir, the gift set drew a simple verdict from the writer's parents: sweet and good.

Here's the exterior of Today Jeju Shilla Duty Free Shop Jeju Branch! There's a small Today Jeju sign next to the door. Since they specialize in Harubangne madeleines, there are cute Hallasan and dol hareubang (stone grandfather statue) characters out front.

Inside Today Jeju: orange accents and Harubang Sand
Once you step inside, the interior is decorated with an orange accent color! Even the takeout bags come in orange too.

A meeting of the Jeju hareubang and the madeleine!! "Harubangne" — they also sell Harubang Sand, made with chewy marshmallow cream combined with Jeju-grown tangerine and Udo peanuts.

There were colorful dol hareubang decorations everywhere. Look closely and you'll spot postcards, toothbrushes, keychains and more. There's also a cute I Love Jeju t-shirt and a Today Jeju eco bag~~

How much is a single Harubangne madeleine at Today Jeju?
The Harubangne madeleines above can be bought individually. Each one runs in the ₩3,000–4,000 range. Not exactly cheap, but as a Jeju dessert souvenir the Harubangne madeleine is just too cute — I think the recipient would find it adorable and satisfying as a gift!

Aren't they so cute?! Look closely and even their expressions are smiling 😊

The Harubangne 8-flavor gift set: how did my parents react?
They wrapped up the Harubangne 8-flavor gift set for me. So, so cute 🍊🧡

Before giving the dessert gift, I couldn't resist peeking inside! So so cute 🤍🤍 As a kid, whenever I went to Jeju I feel like I always ended up buying chocolate. This time, instead of the usual thing, I wanted to give a gift that felt distinctly Jeju, unique and cute — and this was perfect!! I gave it to my parents and they loved it, saying it was sweet and delicious (proud).

Ang-butter vs choco madeleine: which flavor won?
I wanted to eat one right away so I bought a single ang-butter, and it was really, really good. How can the butter and red bean combination inside be this good...?! Ah, I want to eat it again, seriously 🤤🤤

I gave the set to my parents as a gift and then snuck one for myself haha. I love sweet things so I tried the choco flavor, and it was delicious in a different way from the ang-butter! But personally, I think the ang-butter — with its amazing red bean and butter combo — was maybe even tastier!!
If you're looking for a unique, not-so-common souvenir shop in Jeju, I highly recommend Today Jeju Shilla Duty Free Shop Jeju Branch!! Harubangne is cute and delicious, so I really, really recommend it.
