Are you looking for a café in Seongsu that opens in the morning? T Coffee, a Seongsu café, opens at 9 a.m. and has such a calm atmosphere for studying, reading, or using a laptop. Thanks to that, I got to drink coffee quietly for the first time in ages.

T Coffee Seongsu hours and visitor information
T Coffee is on Basement Level 1 at 159 Achasan-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It is open 09:00–20:00 on weekdays and 11:00–20:00 on weekends, and you can use nearby paid parking. Children are welcome; there are no high chairs, but strollers can enter.
T Coffee is just a few minutes’ walk from Seongsu Station and is on Basement Level 1. Both stairs and an elevator are available. Visitors with strollers or wheelchairs can all use it comfortably.

This building also houses Khakis and thisneverthat clothing stores. T Coffee and a slice-pizza restaurant are on Basement Level 1, while the clothing shops are on the second and third floors, so it makes for a nice shopping route. It is especially worth stopping by if you are interested in the Khakis or thisneverthat clothing lines.

An open work space despite being underground
Although T Coffee is underground, its well-designed interior creates the wonderful openness of an outdoor terrace. There are table seats in several layouts. This is a café that welcomes people working on their laptops: nobody gives you looks for staying a long time, and everyone can work hard while drinking coffee. A real workaholic café, you could say.

Cakes and baked desserts
The dessert selection is nicely stocked, too. There are cakes and baked goods, with six kinds in all. Whatever you order, it is all delicious. These are not desserts that only look the part—you will be satisfied once you try them.

Morning coffee while the baby slept
With the daylight streaming in, morning is such a lovely time for coffee. My 17-month-old suddenly fell asleep, so we could not go straight to the art museum we had planned to visit and hurried over to T Coffee instead. In a way, it became a golden chance for me to relax and drink coffee alone.

Café latte and cheesecake
I ordered a café latte and cheesecake: ₩6,200 for the café latte and ₩7,500 for the cheesecake. They bring your order to your table. Made with a La Marzocco machine, the latte had a rich, deeply extracted coffee flavor.

The cheesecake was much tastier than it looked. Its texture and flavor were softer than an ordinary cheesecake, gently sweet and nicely balanced. It was lovely to spend a quiet moment at T Coffee in Seongsu with a light dessert and coffee.

Whenever Hajun suddenly falls asleep while we are out, I always take refuge in a café. Once the weather turns chilly, I suppose I will not get to enjoy this little fun for a while.

In the calm, restrained space of T Coffee in Seongsu, I had a nutty latte and cheesecake and spent Hajun’s blissful morning nap well. If you are looking for a café in Seongsu that opens in the morning, or simply a quiet café, stop by T Coffee.
