The atmosphere and seating at Jojomomo in Jamsil

Since it is located underground, I did not notice it at first, but once we went in, it was really packed! There were even people waiting, so I was excited—it seemed like such a popular bar, haha.

There were around six or seven tables, plus bar seating. It looked great for drinking solo, too. We chose a spot at the bar table.

Doesn't it have such a stylish bar vibe~? The place itself was pretty and atmospheric. They had a playlist going, too, and it suited Jojomomo perfectly.

The restroom was right in front of the bar. It was nice not having to go far.

There was a great variety of food, as well as plenty of drinks, so it was perfect for picking whatever suited your taste.

After ordering, we were given Jirisanju as a welcome drink, along with potato salad and crackers. The welcome drink was chilled and tasty, and the potato salad on crackers was such a good match. It really whetted our appetites before the main dishes, haha.

Sea snails with noodles and crispy flat dumplings

My partner loves sea snails with noodles, so we ordered it! The crispiness of the flat dumplings went so well with the tangy seasoned sea snails. 👍🏻👍🏻

Adding cucumber to the sea snails and noodles gave it an extra crunchy texture, and it was so, so delicious. ✨️

The flat dumplings were so crisp that they were almost difficult to fold. I piled sea snails and vegetables on top, and the crispy dumplings, chewy sea snails, and crunchy vegetables made such a wonderful combination. Every bite made a crunching sound, which somehow made it taste even better. 😋🩷

I am not usually the biggest tuna fan, but this was really delicious. Tuna, aged kimchi, perilla leaf, and rice were rolled together, and a little wasabi on top cut through the richness. The tanginess of the aged kimchi and the fragrance of the perilla leaf paired beautifully with the tuna—it felt like eating an elegant, delicious tuna-and-aged-kimchi rice roll. I totally recommend it. ✨️

Warm anchovy noodles

The weather has been so chilly lately, right? It was cold that day too, so I was craving warm broth. But I had no idea anchovy noodles could be such a pretty dish! The bowl and plating were both so lovely that they won me over, and then the taste surprised me all over again. The clean, deep flavor distinctive to anchovy noodles was joined by a gentle chili kick and the tanginess of aged kimchi, and it all worked so well together. If you usually enjoy anchovy noodles, I really recommend ordering this one! ✨️

After we finished and came out, the owner even gave us some Gagreen mouthwash. That thoughtful little gift put me in such a good mood. 🫶🏻🩷

Overall, Jojomomo had delicious food and such a cozy atmosphere, making it a lovely place for a relaxed drink. The sea snails with noodles and flat dumplings were especially memorable, and it was great that we could also fill up on the warm anchovy noodles and tuna aged-kimchi rolls.
