Visiting with a sister and niece, the writer picked rose and lavender bath salts, sipped drinks, and enjoyed a 40-minute foot bath plus shoulder massage. We were wandering around a nice café in Jeonju Hanok Village with my sister and niece, eating ice cream and just strolling around~ But after walking for so long and spending time at the café, our legs started getting stiff and the fatigue began creeping in ㅠㅠ

While wondering where we could take a break, we hurriedly searched for a nearby foot bath café to warm up and relieve our tired feet, and ended up at 'Manjok.' Here's the review!!

Manjok Foot Bath Café seen from outside ❤️ A quick photo before heading in! There was a cute Kakao character mural on the wall near the entrance that immediately caught my eye as I walked by ☺️ The Kakao art welcoming you right from the entrance made it fun to look around!! The interior was well decorated overall and worked great as a photo zone! You have to go up the stairs!

Celebrity autographs on the stairwell wall
Autographs from visiting celebrities on the café wall

Once we got upstairs, there were autographs from famous celebrities on the wall. Since it's apparently a healing foot bath spot in Hanok Village that a lot of celebrities have visited, I got even more excited before going in!!!><

Spacious seating arrangement inside the foot bath café
Foot bath chairs spaced apart around the room

Store atmosphere, lockers, and a payment tip

The seats weren't packed tightly together but spread out here and there, so it looked really nice for couples or families to have a cozy foot bath together! The space was also pretty spacious, and soft old-school pop songs were playing inside — just listening to it felt healing already lol ☺️

Locker space for storing belongings
Shelf with foot bath supplies inside the store

They also sell items used for foot baths. Seemed like a good idea to buy some if you like them~ There's a separate locker where you can store your bag or coat, so I tossed my stuff in there and was ready for the foot bath ☺️

Counter with a sign about the cash payment discount

I found out you get a ₩1,000 discount if you pay in cash!! Paying by cash or bank transfer gets you an extra discount, so if you're planning to visit, bring cash or set up a bank transfer to grab that discount — definitely worth it!! Consider this tip noted?! 😉

Interior of a private foot bath room

Getting ready for a foot bath for three in a private room

Following the staff's guidance, we went into a room and settled into our seats one by one with my sister and niece ☺️ It was a private, cozy room, so it was really comfortable to chat among ourselves, and we got excited thinking about the foot bath lol

Foot bath chairs lined up inside the room

They needed to fill the water for the foot bath, so we pushed our chairs back a bit and waited for a moment~ ☺️ We waited eagerly while the warm water filled up haha

Waiting seat while the foot bath water is being filled

It was hard for all three of us to sit side by side, so my sister ended up doing her foot bath in the seat right behind us haha Even though we weren't lined up in a row, we could still chat easily since we were right in front of and behind each other~

Choosing bath salts and drinks

Once the water was filled, we had to pick a bath salt to add before putting our feet in! My niece and I chose rose, which is supposed to be good for relieving stress, and my sister picked lavender, which is good for insomnia! 🪻 I really liked that you could choose according to your preference or the effect you wanted lol

After choosing the bath salt, you can also pick a drink! Normally I would've chosen my favorite iced tea, but since we came here to heal in a healthy way, I gave up something sweet and went with iced burdock tea instead haha My sister and niece ordered iced americano and iced tea according to their own tastes~

Isn't a foot bath too hot in summer?

Just watching the water trickle in already felt relieving lol ♨️ At first I thought a foot bath in summer might be too hot, but soaking my feet in warm water in the cool indoor air, I didn't feel hot at all — instead my whole body just relaxed, and it was so nice?! I highly recommend a summer foot bath too! ☺️

Shoulder massager included too

While doing the foot bath, they also bring over a shoulder massager to put on! My shoulders had been really tense and stiff lately, so having it loosen up my shoulders and even a bit on my stomach felt amazing all the way inside — I can't tell you how refreshing it was haha Soaking my feet in warm water plus a shoulder massage made all the fatigue that had built up melt away all at once~ Real fatigue relief! 💕

While enjoying the warm foot bath, the drinks came out quickly too, so we drank them right away, nice and cool~ My niece next to me also really enjoyed her iced tea lol

Iced drink served alongside the foot bath

While doing the foot bath, we looked outside through the big window, and just that view alone was so, so nice!! haha

Thoughtful touches like blankets and hand massagers

They thoughtfully had blankets prepared separately in case anyone felt cold! Not really needed in summer, but I imagine they'd be used a lot in winter! Such attention to detail!

There was also a hand massager next to the towels! I gave my hands a little massage with it too lol

After the 40-minute timer ends, foot cream too

You dry off well with a towel~ After enjoying about 40 minutes of foot bath, the timer runs out and the machine turns off automatically! Since it wraps up right on schedule, you just dry your feet neatly with a towel and head out!

Foot cream application area set up near the entrance

After finishing the foot bath and stepping outside, there's a separate space set up in the middle near the entrance for applying foot cream! I applied plenty of foot cream generously too!! I usually have a lot of dead skin on my feet, which was a concern, but after applying the foot cream, my feet felt so much softer and smoother — totally satisfying!! ^+^

'Manjok' Foot Bath Café completely melted away the fatigue from all our sightseeing! Be sure to grab the cash or bank transfer discount and enjoy a thrifty, refreshing bit of healing 👍 Highly recommend it as a Jeonju Hanok Village café!
