Manager’s Special for two and tuna refills

Hangil Tuna’s menu includes refill sets and single plates where you can enjoy various tuna and side dishes! With a refill set, tuna can be refilled free up to two times ʕ•̬͡•ʕ•̫͡•♥
We booked ahead, so the tableware had already been set for us! We ordered the Manager’s Special for two (₩58,000 per person). Now, let me introduce the tuna and side dishes we enjoyed at Hangil Tuna in detail ʕ•̬͡•ʕ•̫͡•♥
From abalone porridge to clam soup

The first dish was abalone porridge, perfect for settling the stomach. It was simply delicious, with deep umami and nuttiness from the abalone plus that lovely chewy abalone texture.
Next came salad and fried eggs.

The fried eggs, cooked almost like they had been deep-fried, were crisp and nutty, while the salad stood out with its refreshing charm.

Next was clam soup. The spicy clam soup with Cheongyang chili peppers made me want a drink even before the tuna arrived 👍🏻
Aged tuna and accompaniments
Just as we were thoroughly enjoying the side dishes, the Manager’s Special for two from Hangil Tuna arrived! The tuna can be refilled free up to two times!

The tuna looked so delicious that there was no way I could skip ordering a drink 🥹

Hangil Tuna’s tuna is thawed at a low temperature and aged for 12 hours, so I loved its chewy texture and concentrated flavor! Except for the swordfish belly, every cut is made with bluefin tuna, the highest-grade tuna. Its chewy freshness was outstanding!

They provided gim (roasted seaweed), baek-kimchi (white kimchi), rakkyo pickles, ginger, and danmuji (pickled radish), and they made the tuna even more perfect.

Grilled mero and finishing side dishes
As we were happily enjoying the tuna, grilled mero arrived. Its mild yet deeply nutty flavor, moist flesh, and tender texture were simply amazing.

The braised tuna was also packed with umami; the tender tuna and flavorful seasoning seemed to amplify each other, making it perfect with drinks!

The tuna sushi went down so easily, with the seasoned rice and tuna working together just right♥ Thanks to the tuna and all the varied side dishes, it was such a feast for both the eyes and the mouth.

We refilled the tuna once, and I was hugely satisfied because they gave us such a generous amount of quality tuna ʕ•̬͡•ʕ•̫͡•♥

The udon had an incredible hot broth, and they brought chili powder separately, so it was delicious after I added more to suit my taste ⭐️

And finally, the fried shrimp 🍤 I highly recommend Hangil Tuna to anyone looking for a private-room restaurant in Janggidong, Daegu ✨ With up to two free refills, I was more than satisfied with the hearty serving of quality tuna! Beyond the excellent tuna, the variety of side dishes made it a place I would happily revisit♥
