Baegot Korean BBQ in Siheung with kids, marbled pork set: Ssosam 208
In short
Ssosam 208 Siheung Baegot Branch is a pork belly restaurant in the Baegot neighborhood of Siheung, Gyeonggi, where staff grill the meat from start to finish. After a trip to Siheung Premium Outlets, the writer visited with her children and ordered the Handon (Korean pork) Marbled Basic Set at 47,000 won, adding pork kimchi stew, mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup) and Paldo Bibimmyeon. Never picking up the tongs meant she could focus on the kids, which made Ssosam 208 an easy choice for a family meal.

A Korean BBQ restaurant in Siheung's Baegot neighborhood where all you have to do is sit back and eat — this is Ssosam 208, a Siheung Baegot spot the staff grill for you.

We spent the weekend with the kids at Siheung Premium Outlets. After all that shopping and playing around, we got hungry pretty fast. For a meal with kids, nothing beats pork belly for a proper protein boost. But trying to grill the meat yourself while also wrangling the kids can get chaotic — half the time you don't even know if the rice is going into your mouth or somewhere else.

So this time I went looking for a Baegot BBQ place where the staff grill for you, and ended up at Ssosam 208 Baegot Branch, a well-known spot in Siheung Baegot.

Where is Ssosam 208 Siheung Baegot Branch, and what are its hours?

What is the inside of Ssosam 208 like?

Walking into Ssosam 208, I found rows of wooden tables with blue cushioned chairs, each equipped with an order tablet and a ventilation duct for pulling away the smoke.

Toward the kitchen there was a sign reading something like 'meat juice storage,' which really captured that classic pre-seared BBQ restaurant vibe.
The table setup includes both 4-person tables and group seating, so it looked well suited to gatherings or work dinners too.
Parking at Ssosam 208 Baegot Branch: free hours and tips

For anyone driving, here's the parking info: the building's basement lot gives you up to 2.5 hours free, which makes things easy.
If it's the weekend or a peak mealtime and the basement lot is full, don't panic — just use the nearby public parking lot. On weekends especially it's free, so you can enjoy your meal without stressing over parking.
What comes in the 47,000 won Handon Marbled Basic Set?

Browsing the menu, a set with a really solid lineup caught my eye, so I ordered it right away.

- Hanwoo Marbled Pork Basic Set (47,000 won): marbled pork belly 400g + marbled premium cut 200g
- Pork kimchi stew
- Ssosam 208 mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup)
- Paldo Bibimmyeon (spicy cold noodles)
Charcoal pre-searing and the staff grilling service

This Siheung Baegot spot pre-sears its top-grade Korean pork over 500-degree charcoal before it hits your table. Even before the meat touched the grill, there was already a gentle, savory charcoal aroma in the air that got my expectations up.

But honestly, the biggest reason I chose this place was that it's a Baegot BBQ restaurant where the staff do the grilling for you.

A skilled staff member grilled the meat with care from start to finish, timing it perfectly for the best flavor.

Watching the pork belly and pork neck turn golden on the grill was seriously mouthwatering. Not having to hold tongs or scissors meant I could focus entirely on taking care of the kids, which was such a relief.
The nicely browned marbled pork belly had a crisp exterior, and biting in released a burst of juicy tenderness — the texture was excellent.

The marbled premium cut was just as good — no dryness at all, and the kids kept saying it was delicious as they ate up, which made me proud.
Banchan side dishes and dipping sauces

The lineup of basic side dishes to go with the meat was also impressively generous.
On one side of the grill, kimchi and bean sprouts sizzled golden in savory oil, while whole onion and asparagus grilled alongside added even more depth of flavor.

Topping the golden pork belly with the house minced garlic sauce and grilled asparagus made for a pungent yet clean bite that was a real treat,

and wrapping it in the salty, fragrant myeongi namul (wild garlic leaves) was also a great combo.
Wrapping a thick piece of pork neck in fresh lettuce and perilla leaf with a bit of ssamjang made the flavor of the meat feel even richer.
Sides at Ssosam 208: kimchi stew, Paldo Bibimmyeon and cold noodles

We started by warming up with the spicy, tangy kimchi rice noodle soup that comes as a default side, then moved on to properly enjoy the extra menu items.

Pork kimchi stew
This stew is generously packed with tofu, tender pork, and kimchi.
The broth was deep, rich, and spicy — mixing it with white rice and the broth and ingredients meant I finished a whole bowl of rice in no time.

Paldo Bibimmyeon (spicy cold mixed noodles)
The spicy cold noodles arrive nicely topped with crisp cucumber, and the sweet-and-spicy sauce was really appealing.
Wrapping a golden piece of well-grilled pork belly around the bibimmyeon and popping it in your mouth in one bite — the savoriness of the meat mixed with the noodle sauce was irresistible, I couldn't put my chopsticks down.
Ssosam 208 mul-naengmyeon (cold noodle soup)
Cold noodle soup with slushy ice in the broth, topped neatly with boiled egg and cucumber.
The broth was refreshingly cold and clean all the way through, making for the perfect finish after a hearty meat meal.
Is Ssosam 208 Baegot worth it with kids? Verdict and tips

After a fun day with the kids at Siheung Premium Outlets, a delicious dinner rounded things off perfectly.

The meat itself was excellent, and thanks to the friendly staff who grilled it all so well, the whole family had a satisfying time.

If you're looking for a comfortable, pleasant place to eat among Siheung Baegot restaurants — especially somewhere you can bring kids and enjoy pork belly hassle-free — I'd recommend Ssosam 208, a Baegot spot where the staff grill for you.

They also run various solid perks like Naver reservations and review events, so it's worth checking those out ahead of time when you visit — it'll make the meal even more enjoyable.
