Pangyo Western restaurant with an in-store meal kit market: Andover
In short
Andover is a Western restaurant serving pasta, risotto and lasagna on the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Pangyo, Seongnam. Over dinner the writer shared three dishes — fresh basil cold pasta, the signature lasagna and clam risotto — then browsed handmade pasta sauces, jambon and meatball meal kits and goods at the in-store Andover Market. The light cold pasta alongside the rich lasagna made Andover a satisfying spot for a Pangyo date-night dinner.

I went to Andover, a well-known spot in Bundang's Pangyo area on the Baekhyeon-dong café street, for a Pangyo date night. It's a Western restaurant with signature pastas, risotto, and lasagna. We visited in the evening — the lighting was soft and the mood was great, and the food was satisfying too. Sharing this for anyone looking for a good pasta spot in Pangyo.
Where is Andover, and is there parking on Baekhyeon-dong café street?

Andover sits tucked inside the Baekhyeon-dong café street. It's about a 10-minute walk from Pangyo Station, or if you're driving, park at a public lot and walk in.

There are a few parking spots right in front of the restaurant, but not many, so the public lot felt like the safer option. Andover's exterior has black walls with a wood sign, so it catches your eye as you walk along the café street. The terrace seating runs along the front, and in the evening, with the lights on, the mood shifts quite a bit.
As the weather cooled down, a lot of people were eating out on the terrace. Pets are apparently allowed on terrace seats only. If you're looking for a dinner spot for a Pangyo date, this stretch of Baekhyeon-dong café street is worth strolling through just for the atmosphere.
Inside Andover and the Andover Market meal kit shelves

Inside, Andover uses the space more generously than I expected. Wood tables are paired with black chairs, and the walls and floors are all done in calm, muted tones.
Black-and-white photos line the walls. Each one shows a different scene, so my eyes kept drifting over there while waiting for the food. Small flowers on every table caught my attention too.

The name Andover apparently comes from a small town in Massachusetts, USA. The owners say they decorated the space and built the menu around time their family spent there — you can see traces of them personally picking out the tables and props throughout.

During the day, big windows let in plenty of light, but in the evening it gets much calmer. If you're coming for a Pangyo dinner date, I think this time of day suits the space better.

Further inside there's an open kitchen and a lettering wall, and unusually for the Baekhyeon-dong café street, Andover has a dedicated market corner called Andover Market. It displays their own handmade pasta sauces and basil pesto, along with handmade jambon and meatball meal kits. There were also goods like mugs and eco bags, which made for fun browsing before or after the meal.
At the self-service corner you grab your own plates, water, utensils, and wet wipes. To order, just scan the QR code on the table and the menu pops up.
Andover's menu and prices

Andover's menu is split into brunch, signature, salad, risotto, and pasta sections. Brunch items — meatball cream, tomato, cod gratin, and lasagna — run ₩22,000 to ₩24,000.

The signature dishes come in bigger portions and range from ₩29,000 to ₩32,000. Just the pasta section alone has anchovy, bisque, cream, and tomato varieties — I spent a while just reading through it. We ended up choosing fresh basil cold pasta, the signature lasagna, and clam risotto.
Fresh basil cold pasta at Andover

Since it's served cold, I was curious how the first bite would taste. On one side of the plate is basil pesto, on the other a whole burrata cheese, and peeled cherry tomatoes line the edge. You mix the pesto into the noodles, so the basil aroma comes through strongly — basil lovers will be happy here.
The tomatoes were sweet and tangy from being marinated, and the burrata was fresh, so overall it felt bright and easy to eat. Because it's served cold, the flavors of the ingredients themselves come through more clearly. Cold pasta isn't common among Pangyo pasta spots, so this one stuck with me.
Andover's signature lasagna

Andover's signature lasagna was hefty even just looking at the plate it arrived on. It's made with layers of homemade ragu sauce, béchamel, and cheese baked together.

Scooping it up with a fork, you can feel the texture of the meat, and the sauce wasn't too salty, so it never got heavy by the end. If the cold pasta before it was the bright dish, this one was the rich, deep one, so switching between the two worked really well. The portion was generous enough to share between two.
Clam risotto at Andover

This risotto comes topped with whole, hefty clams. The first bite brings a spicy kick, followed by a deep clam broth flavor. It's a different vibe from risottos weighed down with cream or cheese, so for me this dish felt fresh and ended up being my favorite of the three. We came for a Pangyo dinner date, and the combination of all three dishes made for a really satisfying meal.
Who should book a dinner at Andover in Pangyo?

- Anyone looking for a comfortable yet atmospheric Pangyo dinner date spot
- Anyone who wants to share a variety of dishes — pasta, lasagna, and risotto — among a group
- Anyone looking for a Western restaurant with easy parking on the Baekhyeon-dong café street
I stopped by while looking for a good pasta spot in Pangyo, and the menu was varied enough that I'd love to come back. Since they make their own sauces, the flavors weren't overly seasoned and the ingredients' natural taste really came through. After the meal, it might be nice to pick up some pasta sauce or a meal kit from Andover Market. If you're setting up an evening plan around the Baekhyeon-dong café street, give Andover in Bundang's Pangyo area a try.
